The US administration is seriously considering a campaign against Iraq. Iraq is suspected of developing a massive destruction arm program that includes gas and biological bombs. Surely enough, everybody would like to see Saddam ousted, and many other dictators as well. But does our ethics depend on our interests? Iraq actually used chemical weapons during its war against Iran (1980-1988). At that time, "the civilized world" was siding with Saddam, fighting Iran, which was the country that supported global terrorism, not really concerned about the weapons he was using.
