College Corner

Well folks, time is certainly going by fast. College is just around the corner for me, although its a little father away than most of my buddies who get to start up at the end of this month. The residence halls at Northwestern open at 8 AM on September 14th and even though early morning and me usually dont get along too terribly well, I'll probably be the first one there. So, in case your wondering (cause I know I am)... The Countdown...

Home Away From Home... This would be Foster House, a.k.a. "home" for about nine months. I actually wasn't too pleased when I recieved word of my room assignment, didn't get any of the dorms I asked for, but I guess I'll manage. Luckly I was able to get a single at least, dont have to worry about any of those nightmare roommate stories, and the room itself is fairly large (roughly 12.5 feet x 9.5 feet) by most dorm room standards. The hall's location, not even a stones throw away from the engineering building (where most of my classes will be) and right smack in the middle of the school's frat sector, is a plus as well. Strangely enough, the building is literally linked to a fraternity by bridges on the second and third floors. It should certainly be an interesting place to stay to say the least. Current Conditions... Misc. Information... As I stated above, I move in September 14th. Classes dont start up until the 24th however and they finish at or around June 12th I believe. In the meantime though, feel free to swing on by if your ever on the North side of Chicago, or for any reason. Honestly, my door will always be open and I certainly enjoy company. Oh and BTW, Northwestern is not even 45 minutes away from Downers so all you who are still back home, for one reason or another, have no excuse not to come up frequently. You'll be able to find/contact me in Foster House, room 311, located at 2253 Sheridan Road, Evanston, Illinois 60201-2979. Lastly, I'm not sure yet if I'll be keeping AOL while I am at college, although I should still be using IAMZUD as a AIM screenname. To be safe, once October rolls around it would probably be best to send me any email at v-moretti@northwestern.edu. I guess that is all the info I have right now, as soon as I get more though, such as my phone number at school, I'll be sure to let you all know. Are You Ready For Some Football... Thats right everyone, Northwestern is the favorite to win the Big Ten title for the fourth time in seven years (something nobody would have imagined possible a decade ago). You can be sure that I will be at all the home games this year as well as two away, one at Purdue on October 27th (best be ready for me Eric and Dom) and another at Illinois on November 22nd (Bryan, Jopa, Neil, and the rest of you guys down there, same goes for you) Special N.U.
