Saturday Opening Ceremony and PARTY !!!

What a party it turned out to be, the over 18's hit the bar and so did the under 18's. It went long into the night. the bar finally closed at 1 in the morning (HV3 time) and many went back to there subcamps to carry on the party.

Having arrived on camp in rather damp conditions on Saturday afternoon it was a great relief to find that everyone was sitting in the dry eating packets of crisps and talking to to my suprise 4 Gambians, who we were to live with for the week. As usual i was nominated to cook on saturday evening so into the kitchen i went.

That night was the opening of the camp so off to the stage we treked to have the camp formally opened by some important bloke ? The the bar opened and the party began.
