| Hampshire Venture Scouts hired out a nightclub in Petersfield (mate) to host a reunion for those who attended Hampshire Extreme Venture (in Kanderstag, summer 1999). |
| Of course the unit wasn't running in 1999, but we blagged it anyway. If you are wondering, it was a beach party, hence the knotted hanky in the background! |

| The first investiture into the unit...in the rain! |
| Lacking in fun and witty ideas for the first one, John decided on being upsidedown in a basket ball hoop. He didn't quite achieve sitting in the ring, because he has little girly arms. But it was still funny as the rain made it just a bit too slippy for him to hold on for long enough! |
