 Saber Marionette J is sort of like Tenchi Muyo if you've seen it. The story is about a poor teenager named Otaru who accidently awakens three marionettes named Lime, Cherry, and Bloodberry(the awakening of these marionettes are at different times and marionettes are human robots that look like females). Of course they're all in love with him which is a real shock to Otaru because he has never fell in love with a girl before since the entire planet is only inhabited by men and marionettes. Poor Otaru now has to live and deal with three lovesick marionettes, find a job that can support all four people living with him, and stop the invading Gartland forces that try to take over their country. The series has really excellent music that you'll definately like to hear, and the animation quality isn't too bad either. The thing that you'll have to get use to is the squeaky sounds that their shoes make(don't ask). There are three series to this anime which are Saber Marionette J, Saber Marionette J Again, and Saber Marionette J to X. The first two are already in the U.S., but the third is still in production, and won't be released until year 2001 by Bandai Entertainment. This series has a lot of comedy and love in it as well as some fighting action too.
