Our Mini-Vacation to Seward, Alaska
We stayed for 3 days at the Army Recreation Camp in small townhouse (our idea of camping)
It was close, but we didn't quite get wet standing next to the falls just outside of town
So this is why you don't play football next to a tree...you might have to go fishing for the ball!!!
This was our view from the restaurant the first night.  The weather was beautiful all three days (rare for Seward)
Maddie took care of the seals at the Sea Life center while Vinod and Mickey were out fishing on a charter.
We stopped by the impressive exit glacier on our way home from Seward.  If you are up to it, you can get to the foot of the glacier after a 3 mile hike.
So the big goal for this trip was to catch some fish.  The two pictures on the left are what we actually got.  The picture on the right is what we are still hoping to catch next time we go out
Mickey also caught a couple of 16 pound silver salmon
18 pounds of halibut compared to...
95 1/2 inches and 319 pounds....I wish...
