I made this fanpage of Alexander Vinokourov because I've bin a Vino-fan since his first Tour de France. I allways saw him as a remarkeble cyclist who worked really hard for his own career aswell as for his team-mates. So after a couple of years, I thought it was time to show people all over the world how great Vino is by making a website about him. But of course only he could show how good he was by wining all the big races, which he did that year.
It's to bad that there aren't so many stories about Vino growing up in Petropavlovsk and the time when he was a major in the army of Kazakhstan. But as you might know Vino is not a person who wants to tell the whole world about his private life. So it's difficult to get that kind of information about him.
But ofcourse I made this website to give you all there is to know about Vino. So by showing you his personal file, results, news etc. I hope you'll have enaugh info about him (for now). And as soon as there comes more about him, this is the first place you'll find it.
