-Broken China (beads, miniatures, etc will work too)
-Old Frame (you want something with some depth to it)
-mortar from home improvement store
-smock
-bowl for mixing
-spoon
-cup of water
-grout
1).On a piece of paper measure out the frame size and make an arrangment of your items how you would like them to look finished.
2).Prepare your frame, add a back to it. (scrap of wood nailed in will work)
3). Mix your mortar
follow package directions
4).Spread mortar evenly inside frame about 1/2 inch thick and lay your pieces as you have planned carefully inside
5). Let sit overnight
6). Now spread your grout in between objects
(Items should be set and dry before spreading grout)
7). Wipe of excess grout
let dry overnight
8). Clean off excess grout and dried grout from objects surface
9). spray clear gloss finish if desire
10). Hang project
