Rasberry Scones Recipe | ||||||||||||
Ingredients 2 1/2 cups self rising flour 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup butter or margarine 2 eggs 1 cup heavy cream 2 1/2 tbsps. finely chopped fresh rosemary 1 cup rasisins (optional) 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten sugar fresh rasberries |

Directions Preheat oven to 350o F. Spray large baking sheet with non-stick vegetable spray. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add eggs, cream rosemary, and raisins, mixing dough until forms. Turn out onto lightly floured board; knead gently 3 or 4 times. Roll out 1/2 inch thickness, on prepared baking sheet. Brush lightly with egg yolk; sprinkle with sugar and add fresh rasberries to top. |
