We had Flash Dance, Saved By The Bell, Gremlins, Michael Jackson still had some what of a nose, Hammer pants were still cool, Twisted Sister, Duran Duran, Devo was whipping it, Gary Numan was talking about Cars, Mr.T was kicking ass, Mr.Clean was still alive, The Simpsons were born, Fraggle Rock! Thriller was the coolest thing on t.v., Rainbow Brite & The Ninja Turtles dominated kid t.v. and Teasing your hair was the thing to do. January 30th@ The Aoh, we salute big hair & tight pants. So come join us in our O.C.Sucks Salute to the 80s. | Amnion: "Mediocrity at it's finest. A hyperactive menagerie of self-loathing creatures, bound by a common idea in musical standards. Led blindly by a deluded lollygagger [Bosco] into the trite, stagnant music scene of the 21st Century C.E.; they strive to define themselves. Each character bringing their own unique definition of music into their instrument, the results both mundane and cataclysmic . Eric Tal [Vertical Distortion], Dave Borsky [Azimuthal Distortion], Brian Popeck [The Zenith of Percussion], and Bosco [Revolutionary Nadir]. To some, they are just another talent-less no-name band of over enthusiastic nerds. To others, they are thought to be a a fresh breath into the suffocating underground music scene. To Amnion, they are merely four ordinary individuals, who are compelled to create something that will cause an effect in the human mind [insert brain hemorrhage here], no matter the outcome. They welcome criticism with open arms. | Take To Heart is a band out of Washintonville, NY. Its members include Cristina Torres (Vocals/Guitar), Dan McGroarty (Bass), Christina Santa Teresa (Lead Guitar) &_______(Whoever they get for drummer..usually Sam). They've been featured in the Times Herald Record's Music section and have been playing around Orange County, Ny for some time now. | Fallen So Far:So the band sent forth that joe should drop the ill fated position of bass, as many emo guys with bad voices had done previously. With tight pants in our possession we set forth to hold true the morals of gayXcore. With this rigid set of morals, we embarked on a lifelong quest for the rock. Being only a larynx, two guitars, and drums, we felt incomplete. It seemed a grievous challenge to discover the individual with the powers and morals to bring wholeness to a project of such homosexuality. With bible in hand, like great moses received a message from g-unit in the sky, we traveled to the great forest on a vision quest to complete fallensofar. The many sights that we did see were marvelous and plentiful. Great beasts and carnivores alike surrounded us and we felt the presence of another. As the sun set, we saw a great blaze along the horizon. We rushed to the fury of flames only to find a pack of animals that could only be described as robasaurs. Huddled at the base of these great beasts feet, was a man we could only begin to describe as 'rob'. This man was a sight for sore eyes, having only the beard that clinged to his face. We outstretched our hands and offered the friendly confines of our gayXcore band to this 'rob'. With our circle now complete the true meaning of rock can be defined. For if there were ever a six piece with the sum gayness of these men, the world had never gazed eyes upon one such as this. |

| The Warship Tabernacle: The Warship Tabernacle was beamed down from URAnus to Port Jervis, NY (isnt that the same thing?) to bring you love. Warship features Shaun "Lover" Whitehead on Vocals, Old Dirty Lewis (Guitar), Sweeny B.YoDaddy (drums), "CHRIS" (guitar) & The New Guy on bass. Shaun is also the head Pirate of the Warship Tabernacle.They have played with many big stars including Night Terrors, Stuff at the Vault, & The Misfits. Yes .. MISFITS. They're a hardcore polka act and have even traveled around the south in the Handicapped Circus Of America. Dont be afraid though. With their space travel, Circus experience and rockstar capabilites they sure do bring in da noise and da funk. | The Night Terrors (Formerly The Sex Machines & Mondegreen Fever) are an awesome band out of Orange County, NY.They've recently changed their line up and have gotten a new drummer and will be joined by an additional guitarist... Anne from Deprivation :). Check out their website.. I found this in their news section.. we will have a self released 12song cd which was recorded in the dungeons of haim hopefully out in mid to late dec. we will also be on a 4 way split 7inch coming on fdh records in early 2004.we will be recording 4 new songs for our 3 minute plus section of the record.the armadelite rifles,lance uppercut and ukuk will also be featured.check out the fdh site for info on other releases. www.nttr.net |

| Hey Orange County, This is Morgan from O.C.Sucks.Thanks for checking out 80's Night.I thought it would be cool if every one could check out the bands before they came so I posted some info as well as the site addresses of every band playing. Many things were born in the 80's, including me (who will be 18 ..Jan.30th). Hmm, I guess the 80s were awesome but unfortunetly I happened.haha.Any how..
