A BRIEF HISTORY OF VIOLENT ORDER:

Originating from Malang, east Java in April 1999. Inspired by the spirit from tons of fast and aggressive positive bands and a need to saying freely of what one thing the boys decided to built VIOLENT ORDER. Started with UNCU (Vocals), ELANG (Guitars), WAHYU (Bass) and FARID (Drums). After a month we form the band we did shows in local gig with the following cover songs from the bands who has been inspired our music like TEN YARD FIGHT, BATTERY and WIDE AWAKE. After about one year, Elang and Wahyu quit, due to personal reason and we recruited CHANDRA on Guitars (ex-JOY JOSTLE) and NANANG to play Bass. With this formation VIOLENT ORDER has already play their own songs. In 2000 we play our show in outside, Bandung at a collective gig 'SADAR 181' and Garum at 'MUSIK PEDULI SOSIAL # 1'.

One more time after three years of being together, Farid left the band, due to personal conflicts. ROY from a political punk band SEDAP coming in on Drums (which our guitarist Chandra also involved that band to play Bass). We starts rehearsing again in the following that line up and Roy had already play through many changes with our songs, he have been taking influences from everywhere and using them to get a little fast sound, whose first live gig was at 'HARDCORE SATURDAY NIGHT # 2' in malang.

The first product of the cooperation was split promo tape with SEDAP released in 2001. After more than one year of preparation, you're now holding in your hands VIOLENT ORDER's MENOLAK UNTUK SAMA of the 'MARI BUNG BANGKIT KEMBALI!' compilation, released in 2002 by BERONTAK Records. Now Uncu found success with new project, SUPER LOSER a melodic rock band and Roy also have a new project, together with his friend playing to a reggae band, YELLOW SUNSHINE.

All we have to say is that we're back and try to put our album out everywhere, so hope we can see more stuff from the boys in the near future.
