Ambitious metal in a futurist world. Members of Spirit Web are probably fans of the old: true metal and progressive metal (probably the same deal anyways), but chose to express both instead of one or the other. Though the distinct halves appears as nothing new, out comes something raw and at full gallop. Spirit Web has interesting songs and long songs full of jams and energy. These are what keeps Spirit Web going despite their tendencies. Lucky I appreciate the classic sound and the metal version of a ho-down. The shredder has a good touch.
