![]() Hard rock heavier than metal? Sure. I can name a few bands without mentioning trendy picks you might hear on the radio: Dizzy Mizz Lizzy from Denmark, Evidence out of Portugal... Wolfgang from the Philippines. Feisty rock with attitude and youthful hops, Wolfgang brings old school lessons and sets it ablaze for the next generation. And just as the previously mentioned bands, they "rawk" from distant lands too. They sound like the Budweiser beer commercial, the Monday Night Football soundtrack, and Harley Davidson. How about Guns and Roses beating up Godsmack? Tesla owning Creed. Wolfgangs Volume sounds very American and ripe for this day and age. Hard to believe Volume is a mere remastering of previous hits throughout their underground cult status in the Philippines where they infused Tagalog language more often than not. Another new album, new website, and new identity are all due this summer behind the heavyweight backing of Sony International. Just in time for a corporate makeover - get em before theyre hot. by Alzn, score 4 out of 5 |
