Australian due Savage Garden -- Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones -- were first heard in the US when a Dallas, TX radio DJ picked up a copy of their single "I Want You", while on a trip Down Under. "By the time we got to America," says Darren, "the song was on moderate rotation. And we had the pick of a record companies and management." Actually, three of America's biggest record companies were vying for Savage Garden -- Sony won and released their self-titled CD. And things have really changed for these Australian cuties. "Nobody every stopped me on the street before and said, 'Boy you're really cute!'" laughs Darren. "Now it happens all the time. I love it!"
