Part 13
- ZZZzzzZZZ
Marina rushed to the stage. She was late for rehearsal. Very Usagi like, she thought, but not very
professional. She reached the stage and
loudly voiced her apologies for her tardiness only to find that she wasn't the
only one who appeared to be late. In
fact, it seemed that almost everyone was late.
Only Tae and the director were on the stage. Where was everybody?
Shortly after Marina apologized, Yuhka
arrived with Ryuji. Ryuji turned to the
director.
"I'm sorry we're late," Ryuji
replied. "We lost track of the
time and then we got held up by a couple of adorable and adoring little
fans."
The director glared. Still, he could understand that. Wouldn't want to give the little ones a bad
impression.
Yuhka looked around and realized that
hardly anyone had shown up yet. "Where
is everyone?" she asked.
The director shrugged. "I don't know. _You_ tell me." He
replied. "Where is Nao?"
Yuhka looked around. Nao wasn't there. She knew that Nao was a late riser but she was always on time for
rehearsals. "I don't know. I didn't see her since last night after
rehearsal."
Rei arrived yawning. She couldn't sleep. All she could think about was Hikari
relentlessly teasing her about her 'crush' and that was precisely what her
friend was doing as she followed her to the stage.
Marina felt bad for Rei. Stuck in the middle of things. She partially felt that it was her
fault. She was after all part of the
gang trying to steal Ryuji's script that started the whole thing with Nao's
diary ending up in Rei's hand only to have Hikari think that it was Rei's. Nao had confided in her about the diary
belonging to her and not Rei. Marina
decided that when the time was right she would approach Rei and ask her for the
diary and return it to it's rightful owner.
She wanted so much to impress the older senshi.
Just as the director was about to cancel
the rehearsal a very sleepy looking trio entered. Neither Sayuri, Momoko or Nao looked like they had gotten a wink
of sleep.
Hikari looked at her fellow
starlights. "Where have you two
been?" she scolded like a mother hen.
Momoko grunted. "We had to clean the bar after our little marshmellow
stunt." She sighed. "Took us
half the night."
Sayuri let out a yawn. "Then there was the couple next
door." She replied. "You'd
think that the rooms in a nice hotel like this were sound proof."
Everyone started laughing. Marina blushed. Nao grunted and curled up to sleep on the stage.
The director just shook his head.
