Appendix: Detailed description of most impressive IT-Projects
The projects I am or I have been involved are listed below:

Enterprise Wide Projects:

Procurement System (ProcSys): an information system managing procurement of goods and services business process. The application has been design using Oracle Designer/2000 (ver. 2.1.2) and developed using Oracle Developer/2000 (ver.2.1.1). It includes 5 modules: Procurement Request, Material Control Processing Requests, Quotation Requests and Procurement Orders, Receiving Reports, Procurement Budget Management. The application is able to manage all the procurement and associated documents with electronic manipulation, to generate reports, to use Oracle8 Database Server security system and its own record level security system.
Mater Equipment List (MEL): a computer application managing the enterprise electrical & mechanical equipment list and the associated info. The application has been developed using Oracle Developer/2000 and it is integrated with ProcSys.
Intranet Web E-mail: a web application developed using Active Server Pages (ASP) and running on Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS). It has Oracle8 Database Server support for storing e-mail account info and messages. The application has all the standard features including attached documents, distribution lists, immediate forward and reply message, account own folders and some special features: automatic confirmation, integration with other web applications (see more details bellow).
Intranet ProcSys Web Site: a web application querying ProcSys database using different criteria and including confidentiality for the data who need it. This is an ASP application and it provides dynamic web pages.
Intranet MEL Web Site: a web application querying MEL database.
Information Event Treating System: a set of Oracle8 database triggers and packages of stored procedures. Because both ProcSys and Intranet E-mail system have Oracle8 Database Server support this project attempts to integrate them. The stored procedures send critical information on dynamic formatted Intranet e-mails to a specific person who is interested on it. The process is triggered by updating data on the client-server application (ProcSys) and is processed by the stored procedures. Till now, there are five operational services, but this number is growing up.
Intranet Shift Log Site: a web application querying Shift Supervisor Log and Control Room Log database (see more details bellow).
Intranet Meteorological Info Site: a web application processing on-line Casella Meteorological System data files. The applications presents history and current meteorological information of Cernavoda's county.
Intranet Telephone List Web Site: small web application querying telephone list database.
Radiological Dose Records Web Site: small web application querying Radiological Dose Records database.

Departmental Wide Projects:

Quality Assurance Management System: an MS Access application managing QA Department documents (entering data, generating tabular reports and graphs).
Shift Supervisor Log System: a MS Access application used by the shift supervisor to create, update and archive shift logs and generate statistical reports.
Control Room Log System: a MS Access application used by the control room operator to create, update and archive shift logs and generate statistical reports.
Operations Performance Indicator System: MS Access application providing data entry and generating reports and graphs for Operations performance indicators.
Jumper Records System: an MS Access application for entering data and generating reports for the Cernavoda NPP systems temporary modifications (jumpers).
Reactor Building Leak Rate Test on-line Software (RBLRT): a data acquisition application used for Candu' reactor building leak rate test modified and adapted to fit into the Cernavoda's specific requirements. The software has been developed using Turbo Pascal 6.0.
Reactor Building Leak Rate Test off-line Software: an MS Access application used for reactor building leak rate test data analysis. It imports data from RBLRT on-line Software, makes calculations and generates reports and graphs.
Reactor Building Containment Integrity Test off-line Software (CIT): an MS Access application used for data analysis and generating reports on CIT on-line Software data.
Telephone Billing System: an MS FoxPro application used to generate telephone bills for long distance calls.

Projects I'm involved as back-up programmer:

Candu Material Management System (CMMS): a licensed information system managing material inventory and all additional data developed by a Atomic Energy Canada Ltd. (AECL) using Oracle6 Database Server and Oracle6 developer tools (SQL*Forms and SQL*Reports).
Gaseous Fission Products (GFP) Monitoring System: a Borland C++ 4.5 application used to store and process data provided by GFP data acquisition system.
