First WayAcess your your bios (usually the Del Key or F2 Key) on boot up In the Boot up sequence for the initial boot device choose CDROM For Second Boot Up Select Floppy then hard Drive Leave your Windows XP Cd in your drive and reboot the computer when it asked you to Boot From CD hit any key. Windows will Now ask you if you want to repair a previous version hit no Windows will ask if you want to install a new version Select yes It will ask you what partiton usally C:\ On each Partition Select it and then Delete and Confirm with L Now you will have the option to create a new partion when it askes for Quick or Normal Method Select Normal for the best formating.
Second WayRight Click My Computer Icon on your DeskTop and Select Manage You will see the following
Right Click the Drive you want to format.
