Download MIRC

Tested under version 6.12

Basic outline of how to use MIRC for downloading. After Installing

Open MIRC and Fill out the require user settings

Under IRC/Flood turn on the flood protection

Under IRC/Catcher enable catch URL's

Enable your DCC server and set it up as follows

Click OK

After everying has been closed down including your web browser

Find an IRC Search Site such as PacketNews.com or XDCCSPY

Run a search then select the pack number this will open up a new IRC window and server.

Once open do not attempt chat on rooms that nobody else is talking on or you will get booted some rooms are simply set up for file sharing.

By typing /msg BAY-DCC04 xdcc send #1 as in the bottom you would end up with Tupac-Resurrection-OST-2003-RNS file

Files will transfer when the person you are downloading off has enough packets available. This is but one way watch for other command switches like /cctp usually you can find how the perfered method for that user either on top or the bottom of the listed files.
