Remove a user from Windows XP Welcome Screen |

Follow these steps to remove a user from the Windows Welcome Screen
1. Click the Start button and select Run, then type regedit and click OK.
2. Expand the following
key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, Microsoft,Windows NT,
CurrentVersion,Winlogon, SpecialAccounts, and UserList
3. You should now see the list of the account names. To add a name to the list, just right-click and select New
1 DWORD value.
4. Close Regedit
After you reboot the computer the user will not be displayed on the Welcome screen any longer.
