Emily Zeitlyn (the Weeds) Bio:

The Philadelphia native Emily Ana Zeitlyn fashioned The Weeds out of a pile of overgrown vines: a constantly evolving group of sounds and words slapping between spare rock drama and trickling melodies. The songs are little movies filled with word pictures and up close character studies. The Weeds have recently completed a new album which will be ready any day now. Joining Emily most times is super-fun drummer Sunday Livingston aka Bobby Wolter. The Weeds play many shows in Philly and have gallivanted around North America sharing the bill with inspiring folks like The Microphones, Mirah , Karl Blau, Tigersaw and Birdie Busch.
