part two

[A mother's tribulations for her children...]

Children can share everything with their mother, because no one can show such compassion as a mother does for her children; a mother's caress is the most comforting of all. God shows His infinite goodness through the tenderness in the eyes of a mother watching over her child.
He does not despise us for our tears (neither would a mother!); yet, He can see our weakness, like a mother. Those who are now overcome with sadness, will be elevated, and those who mock and laugh will be covered with shame.

Tribulations are treasures, though, and if we were wise people, we would consider our pains as precious stones.
Tribulations are like mines of diamonds; people's goods are silver, but for those in pains these are pure gold.
We love comfort and stillness, but the Way to God takes through storm and suffering; through illness we get better, and through poverty we get richer; our earthly wings are cut by way of such tribulations, so that we may not flee from God's hand; after the rain of our tears, the blessing of the Holy Gift comes down over our heads...

[Runing towards Golgotha's Mountain...]

Never do stars shine so bright as on a night of great freeze.   The scented plants give off a pleasant fragrance, when rubbed; Even though appearance changes in time, the inner self, the essence remains unaltered, but it is also subject to continuous renewal.
The Run is that particular time of our life when we are given to Death because of our sins.   Caress yourself, loved and tired soul; the Cross comes for you to give you life and cure your soul.

Will You send, oh, Lord, Thy Light and Thy Truth, so that I know You love me! A great discovery awaits for you beyond this tribulation, greater than God's epiphany itself!

The Golgotha's Mountain comes to be the Change-at-Face Mountain; those who receive the Sacred Mountain of Golgotha, choose to accept the Cross in their souls, through which we are turned into the great epiphany.
We all hide ourselves from pain thinking that it cannot reach us... Why do you hide yourself, Soul?
Do not hesitate to enter the House of Pain, because once it reached you, it can strike you wherever you may be...

[The Cross...]

You, fearful man, fear not of the Holly Cross, It will caress your soul!
I look inside this horrifying Cross; I can see the brighter side of the dark clouds; I can see the sunny side of the spikes which hurt my heart.

[Worries and Doubt...]

If I cast my worries aside into the Hand of Lord, it will shred my powers; there are, undoubtedly, worries which I cannot throw upon God, because I am a sinner.
The worry of being a braggart; the fear of poverty; the wish for revenge, etc. How could I ask God to carry such a worry for me ? Oh, how difficult is to wait for help from other people!   For this help does not come all the time...

[He, who stands...]

You cannot carry a full cup without spilling some of its content. In the same way, you cannot bear alone a too heavy "cross" without any help.

"He who stands on the crown of a high wall, needs a head that should not shiver..."

[Our soul's doctors...]

Patience is better than Wisdom; a gram of patience makes more than a kilogram of diamonds! Everybody claims to be patient, but few are those who actually prove it.
Patience is a medicine for any disease; when our flesh and bones are full of pain and suffering, we most often feel sorry for ourselves. But to sing and to be patient is so much better than weep and feel sorry for ourselves.

The Sufferings are guests which come without being invited, yet those who complain about them, will not be truly caressed.
Many people are born screaming, live complaining and die disappointed.   They consider the others' pains are not as big as their own, while their wings are as heavy as lead.
In this case, the most suited "doctors" are: Dr. Tranquility, Dr. Good-will, Dr. Patience and Dr. Moderation.
Richness causes changing moods, but hunger does not look for the cooker's fault; a gram of health is worth a sack of precious stones; when the sufferings come, there is no good wrangling against God.
This would mean the same as kicking at the Spike.
"Everytime the sheep hollers, it loses a ratio of her grains; every time we complain ourselves, we lose a blessing".

[Everything comes to an end...]

All evil things will soon come to an end; within the worst flood there is also a dry place somewhere, and even if there was no such a place, the hope would still teach us how to swim.
What I cannot heal, I must endure/ suffer; what comes from God is always a blessing, even if it is a tree-branch.
The most miserable people are those who always worry about everything.

Those of you who are frightened, be worried no more, but glad for the day of tomorrow!
If I look at all the worries and tribulations which may come, I feel like shouting:   How can I get over all of these?!, but they do not come all at once; they come one-by-one.
But when such a need or worry comes my way, the strength to face sorrow comes along with it.

[Trials step-by-step and day-by-day...]

Step-by-step, day-by-day, we will cover the long Path that leads to the Truth.
If I am strong enough as to endure the descent, then I can be glad, because I will be soon ready to make the ascent.
"Oh, Lord, how humble have I become, at only twenty-one years old... You made me understand how insignificant we are!"

This trial is not easy, but I beg You, God, make it be the one by which my soul will be blessed.
"Ah!" - says I; I do not have any friend to help me!   Then I wait for God to come in to my rescue...

Hard times come often, yet there is an even greater pain. The pains which we endure are small compared to those that we really deserve.
Our faith is put to a test by way of such difficulties.

Feeling good all the time gives birth to self-confidence.   Sometimes, the times of trial are only a preparation for the time when we receive a richer Gift (from God).
"So, I turn myself onwards the unexplored hand, full of riches, from my empty bag, and I am not afraid; Lord, I have complained that my life is terribly hard; I have asked You to take away my burden, but You did not want to; You advised me to share my suffering with other people; I gave my coat away, then my bread and my money, but I have received, in exchange, hate and contempt.
I have been given so much pain, that I wonder how come is there so much room inside me..."
