I'm a starving artist without the abundance of talent that would cause others to find me tragic. Actually, I'm not starving. I could stand to lose a pound or thirty but I'm really poor, nonetheless. So, if you happen to be one of those freaky fans who like to send gifts to people, feel free to email me and/or join my Yahoo group.

I used to be a chat fiend. I prefer html web chats but lately, I haven't been able to find a chat home that I am comfortable in. At least chatting taught me to type. I was a hunt-and-pecker (tee hee) until I logged in enough chat hours to land decent clerical jobs. My best known chat handles are gothic reverie and Viridienne.

I am interested in fine arts. As far as poetry goes, I'm fond of the romance era. My favorite band is The Cure, and I'm rather fond of'80s, retro, new wave, punk, post-punk and modern rock. I am a vocalist myself. Yes, that is me singing. I also do some alternative/gothic modeling for fun. I'd love to be in Gothic Beauty magazine one day. Lastly, I've been acting since I was a small child and do community theatre whenever I get a chance. I'm partial to musicals. If you click the link above or on the main page that leads to my modeling page, you can see my acting resume there. So, if there are any helpful souls out there interested in helping me attain my music or modeling goals, don't hesitate to contact me at gothicreverie at hotmail dot com..

On a more somber note, the following is a quote from Calderon's LIFE IS A DREAM, and it explains rather eloquently how I have always felt about my life:

A sage once said misfortunes must be cowards
Because they never dare walk alone
But come in crowds. I say they are most valiant
Because they always charge so bravely on
And never turn their backs. Who charges with them
May dare all things because there is no fear
That they'll ever desert him; and I say it
Because in all my life I never once
Knew them to leave me, nor will they grow tired
Of me till, wounded and shot through and through
By Fate, I fall into the arms of death.

Perhaps I'll share some of my own amateurish poetry with you one day.

Oh, and if you have any naughty ideas, keep them to yourself. I'm taken-- by a very burly young man who's quite possessive. ;-)
