Born in India to Canadian parents, I spent 13 of my first 16 years in India with about 2 in Canada and 1 in England. Toronto was then my home until 1969 when we moved to Ottawa. I have been involved with electronics most of my life, mainly involving music. 12 years were spent teaching electricity / electronics at High School level in Ottawa and Hull. 1965 saw me entering the mobile D.J. business with the addition of Karaoke when it came along. I have spent a lot of time repairing sound equipment.

My main interest currently is singing at Karaoke clubs. I used to really enjoy boating when I had my home made boat, but alas it finally rotted out. I used to get a kick out of driving my MG TF convertible sports car, but unfortunately someone smashed it up. Now I settle for driving a small John Deere tractor around one acre of property, cutting the grass.

My wife's name is Gail and we have three grown up kids. Pam, Nancy, and Bob. We have six grandchildren, two of which we never see, two of which we see occasionally when we get to Calgary, and two of which we see all of the time as they live with us. My two brothers and sister live in the Toronto area so we see them now and again. For some strange reason, most of our friends seem to be related to Karaoke, in one way or another.
