Virtual BreedingbyJane M Johnson |

The journey continues.........You decide to stay home and look after Chickie. You ring work and offer some lame excuse about being sick. All of a sudden you wish you hadn't used all your sick leave during summer to head down to the beach for a few "free" days off. Chickie spends the greater part of the day dozing. She does not look well. She gets up a couple of times looking for you, and you are able to comfort her. She has a couple of more "green" accidents around the place. Wow this stuff stinks. It also stains, as you find out if you don't remove it quickly enough. You ring the vet a couple of more time and he tells you not to worry as the pups will be due really soon. Morning stretches to afternoon, and afternoon stretches to evening. Still no pups. You have no idea what to do at this point and hope you had been better prepared. You doze on the lounge as you wait for something, anything, to occur. In the interim you get out your kit of essential oils and find something calming. Nothing works. Not even three cups of camomile tea. What are you going to do?
Decision PointThere's really no going back at this point. You want to shout, "I don't want to play this game any more", yet you know you can't. You do it anyway, and it brings you a smidgen of relief. Click here to proceed.
or, Luckily, because this is a virtual breeding, you can decide at this point that you don't want to continue. In fact, you wish you'd never begun. This is just too much for your nerves, and not fair on Chickie or yourself. For what you're doing it for, it's just not worth it, you figure. As such you wind back the clock to the point where you decide not to breed Chickie after all. Click here to wind back the clock.
