hi sue. Well I've taken another couple of days off work to look after Pinky. I'm tube feeding her daily. She does not look good. However,I'm not going to give up. She requires feeding every couple of hours.

the other pups are doing fine. they are growing each day. They are a week old now. It won't be long before they open their eyes.

Hopefully we're over the worst of it now.

Hi Gretel. I'm thinking of you. I admire you for keeping Pinky alive, although it's probably not the decision I would have made. If you need any help let me know.

Jeremy has been asking about you.

    Keep in touch,

    Sue.

well I have horrible Christmas news Sue. Yesterday Pinky died. We tried all that we could including putting her on an iv drip. But she ended up with a lung infection. It looks like some of the milk she was getting fed got into her lungs, and caused problems.

Things can't get worse than this, can they? all the other puppies appear to be doing fine.

    Gretel

Oh Gretel, that's awful news. I know how much work you put into that puppy. The most important thing now is to look after yourself, Cammy, and the remaining puppies.

We would have loved that you could have spent Christmas with us, but we understand that it is nigh impossible for you to get over here with everything you have going on there.

Our thoughts are with you at this time.

    Sue.
