Frequently Asked Questions

1. How can I send you my work so that you can include it in 'Virtual Geography'?

First of all you have to save your work on your computer's hard disk drive.  Then, click on any of the 'e-mail' icons found on our Web site and fill in the 'Feedback and Comments' form.  Click on 'Send comments' to open your e-mail client (e.g. Microsoft Outlook). If you are using Hotmail or any other Web mail service, you can still attach your work and send it to our e-mail address.   All you have to do then is click on the attachment icon and attach the file where you saved the work you want to send us.  Finally, click on 'Send'!

2. Can I use the diagrams and information found in the Web site to present it for my homework or project?

Yes, we would be very pleased if you find our work useful.  However, if you copy anything (notes, photograph, diagram etc.) exactly as it is, please make a note from where you took it.  Its not ethical to pass anyone's work as your own!

3. How do I change my screen resolution to 800 by 600 pixels?

It's very simple:  On the desktop screen (the screen that appears when no programs are being used), right click with the mouse.  A small window will pop up.  Click on 'Properties' and then 'Settings'.  Move the 'Screen Area' pointer until you see an 800 by 600 pixels written down, and then just click OK.

4.  What can I do if a picture does not show on the screen?

Place the mouse over the desired picture, right click on it and choose show picture from the options window that pops up.
