Our Mission

The mission of the school library program is to ensure that students are effective users of ideas and information enabling them to be literate, life-long learners.  This mission is accomplished by: 

•  Providing instruction in the acquisition and use of information ideas. 
•  Stimulating interest in reading and appreciation of literature. 
•  Providing access to materials in multiple formats. 
•  Collaborating with teachers to design learning experiences to meet the needs of students.
