Wildcards:
Nick: Lisa, although that wasn't the best we have seen tonight, it was such a wonderful improvement! What you proved to me is that you are a strong competitor, and that you are willing to take the constructive criticism and use it to your advantage. As for advice on how to improve, I will leave that to Ksenia to comment on, haha! Well Done!
Ksenia: Tough song (even though it seems like its easy, tough) A few pitch flubs here and there (starting out notes were a little sharp) you seem to have more strength and control in your upper range (or you tried to push your head voice down too low) which explains the sharps on the lower notes. Watch out for a nasal tone, try to center the tone not in the nasal cavity area but more forehead(this is different for all people but just try things out) On the top notes "you're in the arms of the angel" get a good support breath(make sure diaphragm expands and stays supported) some of the nasal comes from over-chewing words, just watch out for dipthonging on them(adding an extra syllable to the word) I think you improved since last time, keep doing it!
Cory: This was good, I just wish it was stronger becuase the tone lacks something through out the entire song and it sounds like your actually crying in some parts...

Here comes Nicole Stheath, singing "Hero" by Mariah Carey:
Nick: Nicole, that was well done! Like alot of the people we are seeing tonight, that was a great improvement. Listening to you right after Lisa, you girls sound similar. The only thing I think you need to work is the flow, it sounded like you didn't have too much control over the song, and that sort of took away from the flow. Keep up the consistent effort!
Ksenia: This was better than last time. You still had a few pitch errors, but you really had a nice course with the runs. The middle sounds like it's the best area for you, but the upper notes weren't bad either (more breath support though!) Your voice is a bit different than some of the other ones I've heard in numerous idol comps and it's good. Remember to really make the song your own and if possible not copy the same styling that the artist does but make up your own (as long as it's in key and not clashing) good improvement.
Cory: Nicole good job, but I notice you changed some parts of the song, and alot of your runs were the same which made the song repetitive... but good job
Is Nicole your Virtual Pop Idol? The Results are almost here!
