Param Pujya Sant Shri Asaramji Maharaj (endearingly called 'Bapu') is a self-realised soul Who took Avtar (incarnation) in the human form fiftynine years ago. He has been endowed with a spiritual charisma which has helped hundreds of millions of people around the world. He preaches the message of Vedanta, Yoga, divine love, Bhakti (devotion) & Mukti (Salvation) in very simple words. He is imparting an unprecedented service to the whole of humanity through His Satsangs (spiritual discourses), whereby He tells us what is the purpose of Human life. He wishes to share His spiritual experiences with everyone so that they too may attain the bliss within. Bapuji's concern & compassion for poor & needy have found expression through numerous charitable, educational & health improvement activities.

On April 23rd 2000, with the blessings from Pujya Bapuji Himself, a large number of His sadhaks (devotees) & others celebrated the Avtaran Diwas (birthday) for the First time in Northern California. This was done at the Tracy home of Dilipsinh Bhai who had decorated the whole house to reflect how blessed & fortunate all sadhaks feel to be able to mark the Avtaran Diwas of Pujya Bapuji in this part of the Globe. The celebration started with Hari Om gunjan & shlokas from Veda. A very special Bhajan, Avtaran Divas ka Vandan Ho... was also played to mark the occasion. Then the whole of Sri Asaramayan Patha (poetic life sketch of Bapuji) was recited by all devotees. This was followed by playing a one hour Video of Bapuji's satsang delivered by him on his Birthday in 1998 in Ghaziabad, India. Fifteen shlokas from Guru Geeta were chanted followed by Aarti. The devotees were also served Light Prasadam (blessed food) after this.
