The "California Crowd"-- Friends from my 8 years living in California. These are the lifelong friends I was lucky enough to meet in many ways--at my first job out of college, as roommates, at the post-college parties, and so on. I also was lucky to meet Charlotte, and we had a wonderful time dating for two years. I'll always cherish the time we had together--and we're still great friends. After growing up in the US, It always amazes me how little I knew about European history and culture. But now, I get to travel to all these places and meet new people from all over Europe.
