Nothing much has happened this year. I missed the last Society meeting a good two weeks ago as I was abroad on a job.
Actually, a lot has happened this year but that´s another story…

I´m spending a week in Antwerp at home with my parents which is always lovely. Mrs.Runa Allan phoned me and invited me to lunch.
Take the 10.10 am train to Brussels from Berchem station near Antwerp. The weather is glorious.
Peter hasn´t been well lately. He´s in good spirits when we take an aperitif but again tires very quickly. I hope he gets better soon.
As usual lunch is more than exquisite and time goes too fast. I do no portraits and I didn´t do any on the last occasion either as I have enough good pictures of Peter.

The Colditz Society meeting takes place for the first time at the Imperial War Museum in London.
My girlfriend has flown in from Frankfurt. It´s her first Society meeting and she wants to meet Kenneth Lockwood.
These meetings have almost become like family gatherings. A lot of ex-Colditzers are there, more than at previous meetings.
There´s Tommy Catlow, Pat Fergusson, Michael Alexander, Kenneth Lockwood, Joseph Tucki, Alec Ross, Gris Davies-Scourfield, John Davies and Pat Reids daughter. It´s again a very nice and interesting afternoon.
