I build this page because I have friends who has
so many beautifully built hobby kits. Here are some. |
He's one of my "victim". I often
spent hours on his house to what discuss what would be nice to be scaled
down. Such as optional parts, lowering job, body and interior color, and
everything about the kits. He's also two years in a row winner, with 2000
took second and 2001took first place on Indonesian Model kit competition.
The Hilux is Aoshima, build to look like Australian style,
with Tray style bed, complete with authentic wooden floor.
The Pajero is Tamiya, build box stock, with Acrylic paints.

Back side view. Bed is build using pla-plate and
the floor is build using real wood from Ice Cream sticks. The reason he build
this kind of bed because the original bed color won't match cabin's color
even after several attempt. It took a month to build this kind of bed. |
|
Close up photo front of the car. The winch is scartch
build using pla-plate, round tubing, kite rope and air duct left over from
C-class DTM. The dimension is based on actual winch measurement that he
found on the web and it's perfectly scaled down. |
Front right view of the kit. Body color is done using
custom mix Tamiya's Metallic blue, Clear Yellow and Smoke Acrylic paints
and dilluted with Nitro Cellulose Thinner. Clear coat also Tamiya's X-22

mix light grey. Additional detail is winch rope. |

in Estoril Blue, this is an authentic M3 Color. The original tyres are
swapped with Michelin MXX3 from Tamiya's Lancer Evolution VI |
First, I'm the one who found this kit in HLJ, then all my friends want it too. Them
we order no less than 6 of this kit from HLJ.
I'm the one who started build the kit, but he seem to be the one who finished
first. The Wheel are from Lancer Evolution VI and lowered 3 mm allround.
Hub are converted so Tamiya's wheels fit well. Body color are Titanium Silver.
Rear parcel shelf also replace from Lancer Evolution VI |
