I'm holding my breath on this page... I build this page because I have friends who has so many beautifully built hobby kits. Here are some.

He's one of my "victim". I often spent hours on his house to what discuss what would be nice to be scaled down. Such as optional parts, lowering job, body and interior color, and everything about the kits. He's also two years in a row winner, with 2000 took second and 2001took first place on Indonesian Model kit competition.
The Hilux is Aoshima, build to look like Australian style, with Tray style bed, complete with authentic wooden floor.
The Pajero is Tamiya, build box stock, with Acrylic paints.

back side view Back side view. Bed is build using pla-plate and the floor is build using real wood from Ice Cream sticks. The reason he build this kind of bed because the original bed color won't match cabin's color even after several attempt. It took a month to build this kind of bed.
close-up front view Close up photo front of the car. The winch is scartch build using pla-plate, round tubing, kite rope and air duct left over from C-class DTM. The dimension is based on actual winch measurement that he found on the web and it's perfectly scaled down.
Front right view of the kit. Body color is done using custom mix Tamiya's Metallic blue, Clear Yellow and Smoke Acrylic paints and dilluted with Nitro Cellulose Thinner. Clear coat also Tamiya's X-22 Acrylic dilluted with Nitro Cellulose Thinner. Interior is done in custom mix light grey. Additional detail is winch rope. front view

This picture is taken after the same kit has won first prize in 2002 Indonesian Modeler's week in Modified Car category. Additional roof rack and its cargo slightly visibile in this pic. The tent is made from tissue paper dipped in paint. This technique is common in Military modeling. Engine wiring is done using kite's rope. Engine Detail

Volkswagen New Beetle. Build as Kamei's Beetster, roadster version of the New Beetle. This kit is Winner of 2001 Indonesian Model Week competition.

Body colour is doone in Gloss Aluminium. Recaro front seat are from Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI and seat belts are scratch build. Rear hoop bar and deck cover also scratch build. Wheels and disc brake from Aoshima. Wheels is using 19" Glanzen and disc brake from Accord Wagon VIP.


Mercedes E320 and Toyota Celsior


BMW M-3 (E36) First time I saw this pic, I could not believe it's an M3 kit. So I went to his house in Bandung then saw by my own eyes this amazing M3. I never see a Revell's M3 build so perfect like this. Finished in Estoril Blue, this is an authentic M3 Color. The original tyres are swapped with Michelin MXX3 from Tamiya's Lancer Evolution VI

 
First, I'm the one who found this kit in HLJ, then all my friends want it too. Them we order no less than 6 of this kit from HLJ. I'm the one who started build the kit, but he seem to be the one who finished first. The Wheel are from Lancer Evolution VI and lowered 3 mm allround. Hub are converted so Tamiya's wheels fit well. Body color are Titanium Silver. Rear parcel shelf also replace from Lancer Evolution VI Toyota Corolla 1600 GT
This body style Corolla (E70) are very popular here and well known as Corolla DX. It is called DX because it wear DX badges on the trunk lid. So when I find the kit It's the one I should have. Toyota Corolla 1600 GT

Mercedes Actros from Revell. Finished in Metallic Green. The tank trailer finished in Titanium Silver . Tank Decal was scratch built.
