I have been a player of paper and pencil role playing games (RPGs) for many years, ever since D&D was a novelty back in the 1970s. Actually, that’s not entirely true; although I have kept my interest in the hobby alive and have quite an extensive collection of gaming books, I have not had a steady gaming group for quite some time. Real life always seems to take precedence. Well, now I have an excuse to be somewhat more active in this area- namely, teaching myself a modicum of web authoring skills. Hopefully, this project will progress quickly.
The game systems I am most interested in at the moment include Godlike, a new WWII supers game coming out from Hobgoblynn Press, GURPS from Steve Jackson Games, and the Adventure! RPG using the Storyteller rules set from White Wolf.
