The day came early for us as we made ourselves ready at the Singapore Changi Airport at 5am for Vanness arrival at 5.40am... Many of us were getting jitters in the stomach and yearned more of him as every minute pass us by. It took less than a blink of an eye for the plane to land on ground as we anticipated Vanness to make his first step into Singapore after his last visit in November. While at the baggage claim belt, in order to attract his attention and to let him know that we (Vivacious Girls) were there, we shouted "Vanness, Vivacious Love You!" and he responded with a smile on his face. It was then a furious ride as we chased him from the airport to the hotel he was accomodated in.

After which, we returned to the Singapore Indoor Stadium for the continuation of our 10th day queue for MTV Asia Awards 2004. Since there was going to be a rehearsal going on, many of us stayed on even though we were not in shift just so that we could catch a glance of Vanness again. Hours of waiting despite our sleepiness did not put us down for at the very moment as the clock reads 4.21pm, we spotted Vanness waving to us through the glass door of the Premier Entrance diagonal to where we were all queueing. For a minute, we did not really recognise who was waving at us, but after verification it was Vanness, the man himself. Apparently, he had heard from the MTV Management/SIS Management that we had been queueing since last Tuesday 3rd Feb 2004 and hence decided to drop us a visit. We waved back top with shouting for him at the top of our lungs, in which he return with a bow of appreciation, smiles and several more wavings back before proceeding into the inner venue for the rehearsal.

We almost did forget that 12th February 2004 was a very special day to Vivacious as well because it was our 2nd anniversary (established on 12th Feb ruary 2002) so we managed to get a cake topped with fruits in so that hopefully we can have a small celebration and of 'cos hopefully with the guy that we are doing so much things for. Surprises did not just stop at at the point when Vanness went back for rehearsal. Our final surprise of the day was when he wrapped up his rehearsal and came out fromt he venue to visit us at the set of our queueing area. He was of 'cos surrounded by security guards, MTV management and SIS management. We screamed like mad, shouted our voice hoarse when we saw him approaching us. Vanness acknowledged our calls for him, and even receive the renewed membership card from the hands of the committee. Chaos could be seen as Vivacious girls went all excited, fortunately we did remember we have a cake and mission to accomplish... and that is to celebrate our 2nd anniversary with Vanness. As there were much noises, he couldn't really make out what we were trying to tell him, but when he finally did get the point that we are celebrating Vivacious 2nd anniversary , he was obliged to cut the cake for us reminding us to be careful when we are queueing. But before that, he came all the way to the front and bowed again in appreciation towards us. After cutting the cake, he said: "I'll take a strawberry" as he pick one strawberry on the cake and got it into his mouth. Handshakes were obliged as he move his way out towards the car and we ran all the way after him. From a distance, we shouted "Vanness, Vivacious love you!" and he again acknowledged with a smile and wave.

It may have been a short and brief contact. It may have been a tiring day. But it is definitely the best day we had in Vivacious. We are all touched by every single moves he made. And we wanna express our utmost gratitude towards the MTV Management, SIS Management, the security guards and of 'cos the man himself, Mr. Vanness Wu for making our day perfect and memorable on 12th February 2004. Thank you. And last but not least, VANNESS ~ VIVACIOUS GIRLS LOVE YOU!
