And of course to add insult to injury, rather than subject herself to the same "medical" treatment which she so stronly advocated, she instead turned to secular, westernized, scientific based medicine from only the finest hospitals worldwide, such as the Scripps Clinic, St. Vincent's Hospital in New York, Birla Heart Institute in Calcutta, where she recieved a pacemaker, cardiac treatment, and cataract work, all of which goes against her teachings and beliefs.
