Mi Casa (more photos)

Looking to the right when you enter,  you see the
kitchen doorway and serving window and the stairs
leading to the gallery and fourth floor.

The kitchen is very modern with a Whirlpool double
door fridge, modern stove, disposal, washing machine,
and other appliances.  No dishwasher though.  The
maid and I take care of that.

This is Alexis's room sometimes referred to as the
  Guest Bedroom.

Across the hall is the master suite.  It's much bigger than
it looks in this photo with a 16 foot ceiling.

Looking right you see the door which leads to the
patio and my computer desk is shining on the right..

  Few Mexican homes
have closets but how about this one.  It has clothes racks on both sides and drawers built in at the bottom.  The halogen lights don't make me look my best but at this age nothing would.  There is a master bath with a large shower and skylight.

Every Mexican home has a saint and mine is in an
  alcove above the front door.

A large crucifix adorns one living room wall.

The upstairs mezzanine has a small gallery with tables for our weekly card parties.   A patio is to the right.

Looking the other direction is the stairs up and some
of the paintings which Angel brought from England.

Angel brings new artwork every time he visits from England.  This large oil painting is by an Oaxacan artist who lives in England.  With my art collection the house is becoming an eclectic art museum.

The fourth floor bedroom is Oriental with a Korean chest,
Thai statues, and Asian artwork.

Off of the  fourth floor bedroom is a a nice patio
with views of the mountains or city lights.  This is the favorite of all of my guests.

Another day ends in beautiful Oaxaca, Mexico.

The night time views from the balcony are also great.

Oh, did I remember to mention our pool?

The pool isn't really ours.  It's in the mountains nearby  but friends and I enjoy it and the waterslide when   we can.

And in case you forgot what I look like (or never saw me
au naturale) here I am.  Hope to see you in Oaxaca soon.
