 the good old character from US comics. like spiderman,
x-men and all alike, <<hellboy>> is everybody’s
entertainment movie. happy and excited to see it in vancouver (i promised myself to see at least one
movie back home...missed silvercity.) nothing
can beat “big screen big sound”. we picked
<<hellboy>> (thanx to cal, who didn’t even show
up!!) and despite the negative response from joyce (quote: ”yee...it’s
about monsters ge...”), it was a “hell” of an entertainment.
i once came across a hellboy figure in hk and
was gonna buy it without knowing who it is and what it’s
from. but
someone (i guess it was cal...you
again?!?!) stopped me from doing
that. now
the movie’s out, it’ll cost WAY more. **sigh**
even though i couldn’t see any
particular “special” special effects and hellboy
turns out to have not much supernatural power and uses brute
force all da time, it was a fun 2 hours.
notable quote from the movie: (i can’t
believe myself from quoting from such blockbuster movie!!) “you like someone for his
qualities, you love them for their defects.” can
totally relate to that.
