 people always wonder why i like angelina jolie.
i’m kinda suprised myself too. she
ain’t pretty, and she ain’t particularly good at
acting, but i just find some kind of charm in her. i
started to like her from <<bone collector>> where she
played a police investigator solving a serial murder. brunette
look with strong character suits her well, and it’s the
same case here in <<taking lives>>. (same for <<tomb raider>> too. cool
calm and emotionless. should have played the game.)
ethan hawke, though, is kinda ugly. at
least he doesn’t look a teeny bit handsome to me. can’t
blame me for “knowing” he’s the bad guy in
this. oops,
may have given out too much.
all in all, the ending may give you some
surprise. but the movie
overall is like any hollywood thriller, purposely scaring you a
bit, with a bit of a surprise, and tonnes of questionable (牽強, or as i call it, “無間道”) events.
