Darren Hayes was born May 8th, 1972 in Brisbane Australia, Daniel Jones hails from Essex, England where he debuted July 22nd, 1973. They are the first Aussie band ever to have the #1 album and single at the same time on the Australian charts. At home, the third single, Truly Madly Deeply has become the longest running Aussie-made #1 this decade. After spending seven weeks at #1 this summer with I Want You, the boys got Mmmmbop-ed from the top spot but two weeks later, they knocked their adversaries out of the coveted position and another two. Rumor has it that Hayes is married to his college sweetheart - and they are living in her parent's house! Hayes wrote the lyrics for To The Moon & Back after watching the Sci-flick Bladerunner.
