| Thursday, October, 2nd 2003 (Oktoberfest- Let's Go Crazy!) October is one heck of a month. It gives us a great excuse to be something we never would be in our everyday lives. Don't you just love that? Well, here at HOV, we are going to try on a couple new outfits ourselves. The banner we currently have is a mainstay, but what about the other pages? Well, we could still use the same concept - yet tweak it a bit for a little less monotony. So, on some of our other pages- I will add a new banner, but it will remain very similiar to the original one here at the home page. Hmmm, with that out of the way.. what else is there to report? A website titled Obits.com isn't entirely enticing, but hey, for good ol' Halloween's sake, let's throw in a link from that website. They have a pretty good biography of Vivien Leigh, btw. Also, another nice and somewhat new website has surfaced. It's called Divine Viv- Vivien Leigh. Check out the front page- That photograph oughta prompt some O' Hallo's Eve ideas out of you. | Friday, November 7th, 2003 (The worst birthday gift..) Was on my way home from work and listening to KGO Talk Radio, when they did their gossip report for the day they reported Mariah Carey was set to star in the London stage production of "The Sleeping Prince" Mariah Carey??!! Did everyone forget about "Glitter?" Well, apart from that bit of disheartening news, Vivien would have been 90 years old on November 5th this year. Undoubtedly, if she were still alive, she'd probably be the prettiest old lady around! And apart from all of my chatter and pyschobabble, I do have some more pictures to upload into the Main Gallery, so hold thy breathe! See ya! |

| Friday, April 16th, 2004- It's been quite awhile since my last update but, with school and work, it has left me with little time to do much. Since then I have acquired quite a bit involving Vivien Leigh. I won a never have been opened LP from her only musical (and a Tony winning one, at that), I won a magazine or two which had some photos of her in them, and also another poster. All these acquistions will be posted (along with visuals) on the "My Collection" page in upcoming weeks. In the meantime, please be patient as school (college) is still in session for me and I have a trip to Arkansas to look forward to on Memorial Weekend (Yippee!), so this leaves me with little time. Just thought I'd let any die hard returning vistors know that I am around and kicking- but just not kickin' here as of late. Anyway, Please visit some of the newer pages I will be adding on here which are semi-non Vivien related, nevertheless, still of some entertainment value. Enjoi, Kristen |

| Saturday, May 22nd, 2004- { Uneasy Rider } News has been little involving Vivien Leigh, but if you notice the new banner's photos you may realise you have never seen them before. These are screen caps I made recently of a DVD (an actual American one!) released by AMC (American Movie Classics) about a year ago of four Vivien Leigh films (mainly her lesser known ones). | Saturday, July 17th, 2004- (Hollywood Nights) I will be on a 4-day trip to the Anaheim/Hollywood area next weekend. I am going to try and spot items in relation to Vivien Leigh, if not, then don't be surprised if this website turns into a homage to Mickey, Donald, Minnie and Goofy. Or the Olsen Twins. | Monday, September 13th, 2004- (Bon vivant) Well, to every Olsen fan's dismay, this site will remain a Vivien Leigh tribute. The trip down south to LA had some surprises here and there (I actually saw the "Fantasy Island" mansion). Overall it was a lot of fun. Now, onto Vivien related items. I recently won a real advertisement from Vivien's last play from 1967 titled "Ivanov." I will scan it soon and ad it to "My collection" in no time. Kristen |
| Saturday, September 25th, 2004- (Tan Shoes with Pink Shoelaces) What a year 1959 was! Vivien Leigh was in the Broadway production of "Look After Lulu" and sadly, her marriage to Laurence Olivier was slowly crumbling. By 1960, they had divorced.
