Lance Profile

Appearance:

Physical Age: Mid to late twenties.
Hair Colour: Black
Hair Style: Long, down to around his shoulderblades. He does have bangs that are eye-length in the middle of his face and jawlength on the outside. He parts his hair down the center.
Eye Colour: Blue.
Skin Colour: Fair (this is an angelic gene)
Body Build: Muscular, but not overly so.
Posture: "Street Corner Whore"--OW, Lance, that hurt!
Expression: Usually pleasant, occasionally smirky, and often with a fair dose of feigned obliviousness.
Non-Human Features: Wings, baby. Big, black demonic wings. Estimated to be about 18ft long, but they may be a touch smaller than that. They're HUGE.
In Depth: An angel's body is built to be lightweight and in proportion to the wings. Skin is usually pale and/or fair, and doesn't tan easily. Lance's wings look a touch out of place on his body because the black on them is actually scarred skin. Nonetheless, his wings are the most sensitive parts of himself, and he usually keeps them tucked away by repressing his aura so that no one gropes them by accident.

Personality: Slutty. No, really. Lance is a terrible manwhore. He IS a very nice, sensitive guy under it all though. He does like to fall in love when it happens, and he's a very caring and loving partner when it does. He's a lover, not a fighter, and usually does his best to avoid confrontations. He
can be a little outrageous at times, but always happy and friendly. It's rare you'll find him angsting, he tries to keep that out of his life as much as possible and usually only the special people get to see it. Which is pretty brave of him really since he HAS been through a lot.

Lance is NOT actually always as oblivious as he seems to be. He DOES actually have a good intelligence quotient, and it's probably BECAUSE he's intelligent that he likes to pretend he's NOT.

A lot of the time, Lance will act completely oblivious. To be honest, I'm not really sure why he does this--maybe it's a reflex. After all, the most traumatic happening in life was due to his knowledge, so maybe he's subconsciously trying to pretend he HAS no knowledge worthy of hurting him again.

Generally, Lance is just a Nice Guy(tm). There's not much that's too impressive about him, aside from his wings and his backstory, and a couple of items of interest I'll address further down ^_^

Background: This is the long stuff. You're going to get the VERY short
version here, okay?

Lance was originally your happy white angel in Heaven. Now, in my Heaven, all the God, Goddess and Gods exist, just on different planes of existance. Lance lived in Goddess' plane. One day he found out a few things that an angel isn't supposed to find out.

Goddess wasn't too happy about this, nor, in fact, was any of the other God or Gods. To punish him, they ripped the feathers off his wings and broke them. This is the ultimate violation of an angel. They threw Lance out of Heaven and into Hell, where he lay broken on the floors and was discovered by demons. The demons took a liking to his pretty little angel body and violated THAT.

After some time, our favourite cookie-monster Lucifer appeared. He rather look a liking to Lance, and figured Lance’s place as a Fallen angel was in Hell (there are lots of reasons why this isn't actually so, but I don't have the time to write them all up now) so he offered him the world if he came to live in Hell. Lance didn't exactly want the world so he said no. Lucifer offered him love instead. Lance asked where to sign.

Anyway, long story short, Lance couldn't stay in Hell. After a bit argument with Lu, Lance decided to go to the Mortal Coil. We're a long way into the future now, people, present times. So off Lance trots, and that just about brings us up to date!

Lance has had a lot of experiences in the Mortal Coil that I may relate to every now and then, but you can worry about those details when/if they come up. This is his main backstory, and I’m too lazy to go into the rest of it.

Abilities/Attributes: Okay, Lance is not magical. He has no magical abilities whatsoever. Let's get that out of the way. But he does have two things he can do due to his astral powers.

The first I've already mentioned, and that's repressing his wings to the point where they are completely hidden. Watching him do this, all you'd see would be the wings folding themselves up further and further until they just tuck away into his shoulders. This isn't that special, most if not all
critters can do it in my head.

The second is a little more complex, and you probably won't see it happen much, but I figured I should mention it anyway.

All angels and demons have a weapon that can be created by them gathering their astral power into a physical form. What the weapon is varies from person to person (a bit of trivia is that my Lucifer's weapon is a morning star ^_~) and Lance can do this too. His weapon is a scythe. If you saw him do it, it would probably look like he was gathering shadows into a physical
form.

Lance also has some very impressive natural charisma and charm. But I don't think that's really an ability ^_~
