Femoral Pores

All iguana's have Femoral Pores. Female iguana's have very small Femoral Pores, Male iguana's have large ones. The femoral pores in both male and female iguana's look identical when hatchlings. As the iguana's mature, in Male iguana's the Femoral Pores increase in size, but the Females iguana's Femoral Pores stay practically the same. The Femoral Pores play an active role in sexing an iguana.
