"MUMMY!DADDY!" sighed as she rolled over in bed.She loved but he was determined to make her nights sleepless.
He had got better though.He was now 3 and a half years old,he would be 4 in a few months.When he was a baby and never even attempted to sleep,because they didn't stand a chance.Or they would take it in turns to stay up and watch him.
dragged herself out of bed,rubbing her eyes in an attempt to wake herself up more.She failed.
She pulled the door handle down and was about to walk out when she was distracted by a voice.
" you want me to do it?" smiled warmly at .She loved his voice when he had just woken up,well actually she loved his voice all the time,but it was just so cute when he was mumbling to her in the morning...or rather middle of the night!
"No it's fine .I'll go." replied as she continued to walk out the room.She was stopped again.

"MUMMY!DADDY!" shouted in distress.
"Shhh.Hunnie i'm here." soothed as she trailed into 's room.
"Mummy don't let him get me." cried.

"If he's funny why aren't you laughing at him instead of being scared of him?"
"No mummy.He looks funny.He has red hair and biiiggggggggggg feet.Even bigger than Daddy's!"
"Hey little dude!I heard that!" said as he walked into the room.
chuckled.He always did.He loved so much,he worshipped him. knew he loved her as well,but she felt as though was closer to than to herself.
"Why are you scared of him?I've heard red hair is in and big feet are awesome this season.Lucky for Uncle eh?His big smelly feet are finally fashionable!" laughed once again at ,even though he didn't quite understand all of the words had used,like fashionable.
"He told me daddy." continued with his story.
"What did he tell you ?" pressed on.

"Mummy.Daddy's hurt." rushed in,dragging to her feet and walking her to the front door where was limping in.
"What happened to you?" tutted as she looked at 's torn jeans and noticed the blood seeping through the deep cut on his knee.
"I just tripped over.Nothing much." shrugged the matter off as he continued to limp on,into the kitchen.
picked up and followed him into the kitchen.She put down and reached into a cupboard,as she searched for the first aid kit.
"Does it hurt Daddy?" asked as he hugged 's leg.
"Yeah it does .But it's ok."

"I'm sorry ." said. just smiled,trying to ease his way through the pain.Who could have guessed a simple stumble in the park could cause so much trouble?
" you've got so much dirt in here.It's going to get infected if i don't get it all out."
Just then there was a knock at the door.
looked down the hallway and saw the familiar head of hair standing at the door.

When and entered the living room they were greeted by seeing sprawled out on the sofa.

"DUDE!How's it going?" asked,his voice slightly muffled from where his head was buried in the sofa.
"What's up with you?" asked as he sat on the back of 's calve's,adding pressure to his knee.

"I really should be going. 's tired and she's got to have a bath and everything." said his goodbyes,picked up and left.


"Daddy are you better now?" asked as he climbed onto 's lap,and sat there contently.
"I sure am ." smiled down at his son,kissing the top of his head.He felt so proud to be a father,and to have such a loving family.Nothing could tear such a strong bond apart...could it?

"Hey little man.Scary clown guy again?" hushed, lifting up.

A few hours later



was in the kitchen washing up, whilst was drying.They had decided to help and out abit, whom were now putting plasters on children that had fallen over and cut themselves, and playing hide and seek with the children.
"Now be careful next time!" warned the small child, before walking into the kitchen.
"Where's ?" asked, re-tying her hair up into a ponytail.
"Out there keeping the kids entertained." replied.
"Well where's the entertainer then?" asked, the confusment now spreading.
"Entertainer?I thought was the entertainer."

"The clown?Hold up, what clown?" stopped washing up, looking at seriously.
"The one we booked to entertain the children.Red hair, weird nose, big feet.You can't miss him!" joked.
