Vixon26's Home Page
Hello, my name is Carolee. I belong to: Yahoo, Excite & Topica.
Most people know me as vixon26 or vixon29.

I was born in March of 1972  in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  I have never lived on a farm, however my favorite summer time foods are fried chicken & corn on the cob. In August of 1997 I married a wonderful man. His name is Matthew.  Shortly after we were married we bought a dog. She is a Whippet. We named her "Ollie".

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. That means that I a Morman. I am a Christian, and I believe in my brother Jesus Christ  who died on cross so I could make it back to my Heavenly Father. But I know that I must live a good life and achieve my purpose in life before I can go back to Heaven.  At this time I am the church Nursery Leader. It's a calling that I know that I was placed into from above. To help those little ones get ready for this big world.  I am also  involved  with a committee that perpares the monthly Home, Family and Personal Enrichment program.

Currently, I am an office manager for an engineering consulting firm. I enjoy being an office manager very much!
When I am not working, my hobbies are as follows: Spending time with my family and friends, Reading and responding to  my various e-mail. I belong to several Yahoo and Topica message boards: several LDS message boards, The Cat Diary, and serveral Cooking boards. I am also a regular on  flipside.com. My favorite game is Gin. I enjoy listening to all types of music. I also enjoy cooking and finding new recipies to make.  My husband and I love to eat out our  favorite food is Chinese. My favorite actitives are bowling and camping.

My favorite era is the Pioneer era!  I enjoy reading about Laura Ingalls Wilder. I have all of her books.  I was introduced to her writings in Christmas of 1983. I have visited one of her homes in Burr Oak, Iowa. I find the Pioneer life to be a very exciting time.

I also like to read about the trips that the pioneers took from the east to the west.  I am interested in how they worked and lived together to make a new life for themselves. I am always seeking new (old)  infomation to find out about that time period in our nations history. I seek out infomation in books, movies, and  message boards.

If anything that I have said  interests you, drop me a note. I always enjoy meeting new  people.

Have a wonderful day!
