HOW TO ANALYSE & EXAMINE A HOROSCOPE
(Working Details of all Components)
The Opening Screen. This picture depicts Horoscope Analysis being discussed by Guru with his students, against the backdrop of Planets in the skies. Notice the ancient Guru-Shishya parampara, the tradition of Teacher and the Taught. Notice the peaceful conducive environment, suggesting us not to jump to hasty conclusions. Unfortunately and sadly, today no two Astrologers ever discuss a Horoscope jointly. This picture further tells how one can self-learn to operate this software by the three methods, Mouse-pointing, Mouse-moving, Mouse-pressing. Next is Logging-in or loading the software. Here, when you are Logging-in, user ID Name and Password, initially given as per your taste, must be provided correctly. Warnings here are that, one: you should never forget these two entries, two: to be careful about lowercase and uppercase alphabets in your ID and Password. These are your secret-properties that protect your software from misuse, and you are the custodian. Next, we move on to the real Horoscope domain.
First entry is Date of Birth. Our software accepts two-digited month first, a slash (/), next two-digited Date, a slash (/), and next four digited year of Birth Remember the 2 slashes in-between. This is often called the MM-DD-YYYY format. A ready reference is provided for clarity, for entering Birth Date correctly. Second entry is Time of Birth. Enter Day-time birth or Night-time birth, which again is clarified having reference to Sun-Rise or Sun-Set at that Birth place on that Birth Date. There are methods to exact the time of Birth. Our Labs rely on Tatva Siddhanta with Nine (9) Tests for exacting Birth time (to celestial time). Exact Birth time gives accurate predictions. Third, supplying planetary positional values, and Bhava (House cusps) Starting positions values. Most computer softwares give these values. Generally, these values are expressed in Sayana or Nirayana form. We believe that Sayana values give better results than Nirayana values. The difference between these two approaches is the Ayanamsa which alter your predicted timings by that much effect of Ayanamsa.
Rev. Burgess wrote in his Book Surya Siddhanta the Rules under Chapter III (9 12 verses). He observed that the vernal equinox librates westward and eastward from the fixed point, near Piscium. Hindu Astrology asssumes the commencement of their siderial sphere with Sun passing Piscium and entering Aswani . The limits of this libratory movement are 27 degrees in either direction from that point. And the time of a complete revolution is the 600th part of the Great Age or 7200 years. So the annual rate of motion of the equinox is 54 seconds (page 114). He commented (at page 117) that a phenomenon of so much consequence as this and which enters into so many Astronomical processes has been lucidly stated in just 4 verses. There were similar statements at page 338 also. Therefore the importance of Sayana system is proved basic-essentiality for Astronomical (partly) and Astrological (fully) purposses.
Our software adopted Rasi-Bhaga-Lipta notation. In many softwares, these positional values are expressed in different units or notations. So, three popular Convertors are provided to bring any value to their equivalent in the ancient Rasi-Bhaga-Lipta notation. The whole Zodiac represents 12 Rasis (of 21600 liptas), each Rasi of width 1800 liptas (30 Bhagas x 60 Liptas). Similarly, the twelve Bhava (12 House) starting limits (obtainable from House cusps) must be supplied. This means that you must be ready with this information. Warning here is that this information must be supplied fully, without missing even a single value.
At this stage, users can save so supplied values-set by making a file and naming it as per your taste, or use the values-set for one-time only. But, once you save the values-set to a file, anytime you will be able to get those values-set (retrieving). This saves your time re-entering the values eachtime they are needed to work with. We strongly recommend saving values-set (for record) even if they are used once. Because, no one knows when that Horoscope values are required again. Thus, after ensuring that correct entries are made, you will order the software to accept them. OK.
Next is plotting that Birth-Chart and examining it. Pressing that key will plot supplied values-set information in the Horoscope. The screen now displays (1) Horoscope with Planets and Bhava limits plotted, (2) there is M like a planet also plotted in the Horoscope, (3) message on the Software propriety, (4) Danger symbol, (5) feebly visible In-Box, (6) feebly visible Birth Chart , and (7) one Planet with another planet in brackets and an adjascent coloured strip with percentage marked on it. Also displayed are Our Logo, Control Panel with few keys (not all keys are shown at this stage). Let us know what are these, and how they help in examining or analysing the Birth-time Horoscope.
First of all, can we verify that these values are correctly plotted or not ? Yes. Point your mouse on any Planet or Bhava limit and study what appears. In fact there is more information than simply their current positional value. It reveals the Planets orb extending from which position to which position for the current (Birth) Date position of that Planet. Truly, this feature can be made use of anytime for any date during examination of Horoscope.
You may want more elaborate information on a Planet for your examination. It is possible. Keep the mouse pointed on Planet and keep pressed leftside-mouse-button. A lot of information about that Planet pointed at is displayed in the Notice Board. It has information on that planets (A) Sex, Benefic or Malefic Nature, (B) Whether in Ascention (Exalting) or Descention (Debilitating), (C) How much Arohana effect % or Avarohana effect % it gives at that position, (D) Its currently-residing Rasi & Bhava, (E) In Uchcha (Exalt) or not (F) In Moolatrikona (Trine) or not (G) Whether Asta Graha (Combust) or not, (H) Which Grahas are aspecting it (Planet-to-Planet Drishti), (I) Close-by Grahas which change its effects due to Yuti, Graha-Yudh, (J) Its residence in Own or Friends or Enemys house, (K) Its Naisargika-Mitru (Friends), (L) Its Naisargika-Satru (Enemies), (M) How many Grahas are in Own Rasis. in Friend's Rasis, in Enemy's Rasis on that day, (N) Overall effect of all Grahas positions at that time. These detailed information is useful while examing a Horoscope analytically. Any time you will know a lot of valuable information on any date whenever such details are necessary. Now, it is on the Birth Date. This feature can be made use of anytime for any date during examination of the Horoscope.
Next is M displayed along with planets in the Horoscope. M stands for Muntha or the Progressed Ascendant. At Birth time, this is the same as Lagna (Udaya Lagna, or Ascendant). Just like any planet, mouse-pointing it shows its current positional value. Like all planets, mouse-click (left button of Mouse) on M, displays a box with details of Muntha influence and effects on that Date, now Birth Date. As a matter of fact, like all planets revolving in the Horoscope, Muntha too revolves. You may also check whether in one year Muntha makes one full revolution or not. In Questions based on Hora Shastra, rising of the Ascendant (M) plays a vital role as given in theories. This feature too can be made use of anytime for any date during examination of Horoscope.
Next is Danger symbol. This symbol stands for Afflictions information. This is dangerous information because it relates to the two destroyers, Sixth House Lord and the Eighth House Lord (Shashta-Ashtama Adhipatis). Both Lords are dangerous, spoils any event-happening by their association (Yuti or Conjunction) or aspection (Drishti) on event-responsible planet. Suppose, Sk (Sukra = Venus) helps in curing a disease, then Sk with any of these Lords influence by association or aspection will not allow cure to happen. All Astrological theories mention their evil nature. In Horoscope analysis, pressing this danger symbol will display these two lords dangerous zones, ever changing as per their current position. Their evil influences, if so, should be taken into consideration. This feature too can be made use of anytime for any date during examination of Horoscope.
Next is In-Box. Now it is feebly visible which becomes fully visible later on. Actually, pressing this with mouse, when fully visible, opens the In-Box (Post Box) containing important messages, like Personality traits of the Horoscope (called Brief Review of Person), message sent after evaluating Birth-time Horoscope for occurrence of any type (out of 589 types) of Raja Yoga. These two messages are compulsorily sent to In-Box for each and every Horoscope opened in this Software. This In-Box can be opened at any time for reading the messages contents, as per your convenience during examination and analysis. If needed, In-Box contents (Messages) can be stored (saved to a file as per your taste) for record. Such stored (saved) file information can even be printed on paper after that Horoscope analysis is completed.
Next is the other feebly visible item, Birth Chart with Birth Date which becomes fully visible later on. In fact, mouse-pressing this, when fully visible, displays the Birth time Horoscope chart with planets shown in respective houses (Rasis and not Bhavas), coloured Lagna (Ascendant) Rasi, and Birth time Dasa (Period) and Antar-Dasa (Sub-Period) Adhipatis (Lords). Click on any Rasi in this Birth Chart, that Rasi resident planets Birth-time positional values are declared. This feature is provided for instant referencing of Birth Chart during Horoscope analysis. This feature also can be made use of anytime for any date during examination of Horoscope.
Next is Dasa (Period), Antar-Dasa (Sub-Period) Adhipatis (Lords) display for that (Birth) date, along with their joint Good/Bad effect % for that date. First planet is the current dates Dasa Adhipati, second planet in brackets is the current dates Antar-Dasa Adhipati. The Planet within brackets always indicate Antar-Dasa (Sub-Period) Adhipati. Mouse pointing them will show you some guidelines to proceed with. Pressing on any of these Lords, displays details of their theoretical effects seperately. Of course, according as these Lords being currently good-doers or bad-doers. Because, neither a Dasa period nor a Antar-Dasa period is fully good or bad throught that period. Day-to-day there will be changes in their capability to favour good or unfavour badly. This depends on their joint effect, their current positional effect, and other considerations & influences.
How much % favourable is the resulting joint effect, or how much % unfavourable is the resulting joint effect, also is needed. Pressing the coloured strip with % marking, displays how that dates joint-effect % is calculated and on what considerations. The Maximum is set at 100%. If Red strip displayed with low % means less unfavourable, and a Red strip with a higher % is highly unfavourable. Similarly, if Green strip is displayed with a low % is less favourable, and a Green strip showing higher % is more favourable. Notice that these colors and the % keep changing day-to-day. Even the Adhipatis also change automatically as per Siddhanta, after expiry of their due period or subperiod as you move into future. This feature too can be used anytime on any date during examination of Horoscope.
Next is Control Panel. Bring to Todays position key is displayed. That is, so-far we are looking at the Birth-time Chart only, and we need to move to todays positions of Planets, to begin analysis for Predictions. This today is automatically set by the computer. Press this Key, and all planets are moved in the background to todays positions in the Horoscope. Notice that planets & M only are revolved, and not the Bhava Limits. Because, Birth-time Bhava limits are fixed for life-time and should not change. Changing Bhava limits means only serious mis-understanding of Astrology. Hindu Astrology is primarily based on Birth-Rebirth, Puranic background (Garuda Purana), and Mythology, which say that a persons destiny and fate are determined at the time life is put into the feotus.
Unlike other features, Bring to todays positions feature is available once only at this time. But one can go into the past, and even far-distant past beyond Birth Date. So much flexibility is provided, but to do so, one must have the sanctity and rationale. What do Astrologers supposed to do with past events prediction, except to establish their credibility. Nevertheless, this software is capable of detecting past events also. Because Astrology is about future, and yesterdays future is today and is tomorrows past. Anyway, from todays positions, one can start Horoscope analysis.
Notice that more keys appeared, and some earlier keys disappeared. Let us understand these features one after another. Any Horoscope analysis should begin with some knowledge, howsoever crude and rough, about Longevity of that person. Press the write-up and read the crude and unreliable estimate of Longevity of that person. We recommend that Astrologers should NOT consider this as useful in any way. It is kept for future upgrading with advanced robust formulae for determining the Longevity, Baalaarishta and others on life-span.
As you see, earlier feebly-visible items became fully visible. The In-Box along with 2 indicates there are 2 messages in it, but increases as more messages will be sent there in due course. The Birth Chart Date, also became fully visible. These two features function now on. How they function and what they reveal are already explained. Pressing on the In-Box opens it with the first message shown along with date when it is sent. Press on Next Message there, the second message with date-sent appears. Like this, all messages in it can be read anytime required. As earlier said, its contents can be saved to a file and thereafter printed out as necessary. The Birth Cart feature also has been explained earlier. These two features can be used anytime for any date during examination of Horoscope.
Now, a number of keys and pictures appeared. These are (1) Our Logo, (2) Graha Saptavarg Bal (Effect) Graph, (3) Graha Motion Control keys, (4) Chart Date, (5) Hide/Unhide Graha(s), and (6) Special Functions. Let us deal with them, one after another.
First is our Logo, which portrays that ViziOn Horoscope Labs is your Friend to help and assist you in your Astrological profession. Pressing on the Logo displays Rasi directions. Release the mouse-button (left), display of rasi directions disappears. This feature also can be made use of anytime for any date during examination of Horoscope.
Next is Graha Saptavarg Bal (Effect) Graphic representation. This feature is unique among all astrology Softwares in the market today. And use of this Graph needs detailed explanation. In Astrological works, mention is made of Vargs or sub-divisions of each Rasi (of 30 degrees) and these sub-divisions are used for judgement on specific life-aspects, like Marital Happiness, Education, etc.. Ancient Hindu Scholars have sub-divided rasis to the extent of half-minute even to make their easy application. Further, a collection of select Vargs is useful for analysis and judging life-aspects. Some such collections are Panchavarg (5 select vargs), Shadvarg (6 select vargs), Saptavarg (7 select vargs), Ashtakavarg (8 select vargs), Dasavarg (10 select vargs), Dwaadasavarg (12 select vargs), Trayodasavarg (13 select vargs) etc.. Notice that each collection signifies some important role in Horoscope analysis.
For purposses of Astrological Predictions, ViziOn Horoscope Labs chose the Saptavarg collection after careful examination & experimenting the collections stated above. Saptavarg Bal has a rational advantage over other collections in matters of future predictions. Because, it is based on Graha Shubhatva (event favouring) and Ashubhatva (event spoiling) criterion. Ancient Hindu Scholars provided calculations for this type of an assessment. Comparatively, other collections of vargs did not offer much extra advantage over Saptavarg bal. As a matter of fact, our research on choice of Saptavarg bal convinced us during field trials of this software during last 2 years.
Some softwares offer Saptavarg Bal of each planet. But, in our software, there is a role and purpose assigned to this Saptavarg Bal. It is common belief in Astrology, that any responsible Graha(s) cause and promote an event happening only when it is in a particular state of delivering that event occurrence. This state of capability to deliver depends on its own capability plus remaining Grahas favourable supportive state. This is called its Shubhatva state. Similarly the Ashubhatva state is defined. That Graha should not only be in such a favourable state, but it should possess the needed strength (Bal) of effecting that event. For example, a Graha in Ashubhatva state with a minimum percentage of strength can only cause less damage, while that Graha in Shubhatva state with a high percentage of strength should cause the respective event to happen. This is simple analogy in Astrology.
This software provided this feature, with ten (out of twelve) criterion to assess planets shubhatva or ashubhatva state. This means enabling an authoritative forecast. As Grahas keep changing their respective positions in the Horoscope as it is progressed daily, weekly and so on, accordingly all the nine Grahas Shubhatva or Ashubhatva state, and their percentage effectiveness changes. The Max % effect = 100% for all nine Planets/Grahas.
Next is Graha Movement Control. These keys control the forward motion of west to east clockwise motion of planets, except Rahu and Ketu moving in opposite direction. The backward progression is the reverse motion of Grahas. This software can move Grahas on day-basis (1 or more days at a stretch), week-basis (7 days block for upto 5 weeks at a stretch), month-basis (30 days block for upto 12 months at a stretch) or year-basis (365 days block for upto 10 years at a stretch). You must therefore instruct the software by what unit (Days, Weeks, Months, Years) and how many such units at-a-stretch (jump rate) should the Grahas be moved. Next, press the forward Move key for west to east routine clockwise motion, or the Reverse Move key for east to west, for moving Grahas as instructed.
At this stage, remember that choice of movement unit and jump-rate is totally your choice depending on need. Anytime, any of these keys can be changed to suit your convenience and purpose. By moving Grahas forward and backward you can study the changes taking place in other features. For example, as you move Grahas daily (jump-rate=1), corresponding changes take place in the Saptavarg Bal Graph. When you disturb Grahas from their current position, corresponding changes are brought about in all other connected features. This type of interactivity is peculiar and unique in this software.
You have complete and total control to progress Grahas in forward or reverse direction untill satisfied with judging the Horoscope for your purpose. All changes are interactively reflected in other features. All such changes remain the same without any error, whenever they are brought to that date. That is to say, even if Grahas are progressed forward for 5 years, still that dates 5-year back scenario remains the same. This facilitates you to experiment with the Horoscope any number of times with as much depth, judgement, and with operational ease and flexibility. This feature can be used extensively and at anytime for any date during examination of Horoscope.
Here one important point must be noted. How do one know to which Date the Grahas are moving from a particular date. To what ultimate date progressed Grahas are moved each time. While experimenting and analysing a Horoscope, Astrologers necessarily have to shuttle Grahas in either direction a number of times, especially using different permutations and combinations of several features in this software. The Chart Date at each progression must be known to the Astrologer easily without difficulty and manual calculation. Exactly for this reason, the highlighted and distinctly-appearing feature is Chart Date display. Whenever Grahas are disturbed from a date, the final date to which Grahas are finally reaching after such instructed progression in any direction is revised accordingly & displayed there, with Grahas re-positioned correspondingly in the Horoscope. This not only facilitates you keeping track of the date as well as knowing the date when an event happens.
Next is Hiding and Unhiding Graha(s). Often, while examining a Horoscope for future prediction of any event, Astrologers main concentration will be on fewer planets, may be significator, House-Lords, or some planets. All other planets play their respective roles for that event through their associations and/or their aspections. As far as these associations and aspections are concerned, our software has provided Notice-board feature. These other planets need not disturb your concentration. So, they can be hidden away to allow your concentration. Because, the hidden planets roles still remain trackable. Such distracting planets can be hidden by selecting those planets from the list. Remember, although hidden from view, they are very much there in the horoscope, revolving and relaying their influences and effects. Once they are felt necessary to appear, they can be unhidden by removing the tick-mark against them, put earlier to hide them. Notice-Board facility and other features, relays to us information about these hidden planets influence and role from time-to-time. This feature can be used anytime, any number of times, during examination of Horoscope.
Most vital & potential features of our software are the Special Functions. There are 11 Functions namely (1) 589 Raja Yogas (2) Rasi-Drishti (3) 16 Vargs (4) Joint Graha effects (5) Exalt/Debilitation/Trine (6) Adrishta sthan (7) Sahama Bhavas (8) Bhava Judging (9) Tajak Tests (10) Female Specials and (11) Hints. There are 3 more customary keys (1) About us (2) Re-Start, and (3) Exit. Each of these play an important role in Horoscope examination. Some Functions can be made to work in the background interactively with another Function working in the foreground. Raja Yoga and Tajak Tests Functions are examples. Such features keep work simulataneously keeping us informed their status and effects from time to time.
Other keys work in the foreground when they are needed only, and do not work in the background. Any of these features can be utilized at anytime as per Astrologers need and discretion. Even all these keys can be utilized simultaneously and continuously through-out examination of a Horoscope. But motion of the planets will be slowed down due to increased number of calculations that must be done for every day to allow you proceed further. This may be frustrating sometimes. Well, this is only a caution from our side, you may ignore. After all, analysis and prediction is most important than your frustration. So, bear with Grahas slowed-down motion, in case you activate all Functions. We now deal with each of these 12 Functions.
First special function is 589 Raja Yogas. Raja Yoga means sudden windfall of huge Riches, Wealth, Comforts, and Happiness. This happens to a person only if a specific combination of planets is found in Birth-time Horoscope. Raja Yoga is caused at the time of Birth itself, but such windfall occurs later when those Planets causing Raja Yoga come to specific positions during planetary motion and during that Graha Dasa (Period) or Antar-Dasa (Sub-Period). It is essential that such a combination must exist at Birth time. If no Raja Yoga combination is found at Birth, then during life-time of that person, Raja Yoga should not happen, but he/she may beget similar effects otherwise. Remember that Raja Yoga is different from Dhana Yoga (Riches) and such other Yogas, as per Brihatjataka.
There are 589 specific combinations of Grahas causing Raja Yoga. This software examines each and every Horoscope for Birth-time occurrence. If such Yoga is found and declared at Birth-time, its future Date of occurrence will be easily detected. This software alerts whenever such Raja Yoga occurs, and sends message on Date of its occurrence to In-Box. It also gives a visual signal. Our experience so far is that none of the 200-odd Horoscopes our Labs analysed so far, had any one of these 589 types of combinations at Birth-time. Very rarely Raja Yoga occurrs. Otherwise there would have been many Rajas than common people by now. Unlike other features, this feature is built-into the software working in the background. This key teaches you how Raja Yoga alerts you while working on a Horoscope. In fact, the second message in the In-Box is always about Birth-time analysis for Raja Yoga occurence.
Next special function is Planets Rasi Drishti (Aspection). In matters of Aspection, there were three schools of thought, namely (1) Parasara (2) Tajaka, (3) Sripati. All scools agree on the 7th Rasi Drishti for every planet. As per Parasara, Kuja (Mars), Guru (Jupiter), Sani (Saturn), Rahu (Caput), and Ketu (Cauda) have Visesha Drishti or Special Aspections and prescribed their Rasis. Tajakas prescribed Drishti on a different criterion, different from Parasaras prescribed Rasis. Sripati refined the thinking of other two schools and gave computational formulas for determining Drishti Bal (Aspection Strength).
In this feature, Parasara Theory (Aspections on Rasis) is utilised for reasons. This is Rasi Drishti only, that is aspection on the Standard Zodiac Houses (Rasis of 1800 liptas each). With this, you can select any Rasi(s) to observe which planets are aspecting that chosen Rasis(s). Notice Grahas' aspection over that selected Rasi(s) keep changing as planets change their positions. Anytime during Horoscope examination, these Rasis selected for Drishti can be changed, as per need and purpose. Remember that Rasi drishti will be visible even though the planets are hidden. This feature can be used any-time, any number of times, during examination of Horoscope.
Third special function is Shodasha vargs. Shodasha means 16. Each varg stands for a specific aspect of life of the person. Each Rasi (in standard zodiac) is 1800 liptas. When each rasi is sub-divided into smaller equal parts like., Kshetra (1 part), Hora (2 parts), Drekkana (3 parts), Tury-amsa (4 parts), Sapt-amsa (7 parts), Nav-amsa (9 parts), Das-amsa (10 parts), Dwadas-amsa (12 parts), Shodas-amsa (16 parts), Vims-amsa (20 parts), Sidh-amsa (24 parts), Nakshatr-amsa (27 parts), Trims-amsa (30 parts), Swavedh-amsa (40 parts), Akshavedh-amsa (45 parts), Shashty-amsa (60 parts). Three more called Shashtam-amsa (6 parts), Ashtam-amsa (8 parts), and Labh-amsa (11 parts) also have similar significance.
One of these, Nav-amsa signifying marital happiness, is an extensively useful varg in Astrological analyses. If no listed Varg is selected, by default Nav-amsa Sub-Horoscope is displayed. Similarly, Sapt-amsa and Dwadas-amsa in matters of Children, Siddh-amsa in matters of Education, Shasht-amsa in matters of Health, are useful. Others have their own significance-aspects as described in the Varg-selection Board. With this feature, you select any one Varg to observe how planets revolve in that sub-horoscope, simultaneously with Main Horoscope. Notice the planetary positions keep changing in Varg Chakra according to (there is a theory) planets positions changing in the main horoscope. At anytime during Horoscope examination, you can change to a new shodasha varg (sub-horoscope), as per need and purpose.
Some Astrological querries require in how many vargs a Graha occupied its own house (swa-navamsa, swa-trimsamsa etc.). Parijatamsa means a planet occupied its own house (Rasi) in 2 out of 16 vargs. Similarly, Gopuramsa means in 8 vargs, and Vaiseshikamsa means in 12 vargs. It is very easy to determine these anytime for any date. Also, some querries need Vargottamamsas to know that planets beneficial strength. It is easy to find these Vargottamamsas with this feature. This facility also can be used any-time, any number of times in examination of Horoscope.
Next special function is Joint Graha Effects. Astrological theories say that if any two planets come closer within prescribed limits, then both planets jointly give joint effects, may be different from each individual effects. Such Grahas are said to be in Yuti or conjunct Grahas. Siddhantas specified Yuti limits or general-orbs for each planet. Two questions may arise here. One, if one of the planets is Ravi (Sun), then what is the joint effect. Closeness with Ravi implies Astangatva (Combustion) meaning that the other planet conjunct with Ravi fully looses its effecting power, only Ravis influence will be there. Astangatva limits for each planet are differently prescribed, different from Yuti limits in Hindu Siddhantas. Of course, Astangatva limits override Yuti limits in such a case. Planets Notice Board declares its Astangatva status.
How to know the effect if three or more Grahas are conjunct. Simple, take two Graha combinations at a time, summarize the resulting effects, and accordingly will be the total joint effect. By this feature, you will know any two-planet combinations joint effect when such situations arise. If two planets, though appear to be closer, are not closer as defined in Siddhantas, then it declares that their jointness is not defined. Remember, Planets Notice-Board feature also has this information. This feature can be used any-time, any number of times, during examination of Horoscope.
Next special function is Exalt/Debilitation/Trine. Hindu Siddhantas stated the points of each planets Exaltation (Uchcha) Debilitation (Neecha) and Trine (Moola Trikona). In Exaltation, every planet is fully powerful to deliver its full effect. Whereas in its Debilitation, the planet becomes totally ineffective or impotent. In trine, it is powerful to deliver its effects, but not fully as in Exalt. We know each planet has a significant diameter and band of strong-wind around it. Hence the Exalt, Debilitation, and Trine points effectively be considered as zones or ranges. These zones of Exalt, Debilitation, and Trine are coloured differently and are displayed along Main Horoscope borders as prescribed in Siddhantas.
In the skies, each planet due to huge size and speedy motion, evokes some atmospheric disturbance which affect motion of other closing planet. Both planets have such disturbing atmospheres around them. So, to account for such a natural and logical phenomenon, Yuti and Orb concepts came into being. Also, in Geometry, because each planet has some size and diameter, when two such planets come close-by, there will be some time when only one planet is visible. This concept has special significance in Astronomy, especially in Eclipses. Exalt is that point nearest (apogee or perhelion) to earth in ecliptic, and Debilitation is the farthest (perigee or aphelion) point to earth. This feature is provided in this software because of their significance in many Astrological querries and considerations. This feature can be used any-time, any number of times, during examination of Horoscope.
Next special function is Adrishta sthan or the lucky point. For every Horoscope, there will be a certain position expressed in Liptas at which luck strikes under some specified conditions. What type of luck and when such luck strikes depends on the location of that point in the Horoscope. That lucky point is calculated according to Siddhanta Rule prescribed in Kaala Saadhana Koumudi, an Astrological text. This calculation is based on Birth Chart positions only, and so the nature and time of luck is determined at Birth-time itself for whole life-time. This software provided this feature as it has great significance in Varshphal and other Astrological analyses. Pressing the key declares where the lucky point is located and what luck and how that luck strikes will be displayed in that Rasi for reading. Pressing the same key another time removes the details. This feature too can be used any-time, any number of times, during examination of Horoscope.
Next special function is Sahama bhavas. Sahama bhavas are short-cuts to timing of querries on aspects in ones life. They are used for calculating event-occurrence time. Ancient Hindu Siddhantas mentioned 47 such Sahama bhavas (some say more). These values are calculated based upon Birth-time planetary positions. Different formulas exist for day-time birth and night-time birth. For these sahams, the Lagna (Ascendant) location is needed mostly. Though sahams calculation look very simple, they are effective in many cases. Many Astrologers draw their final conclusive confirmations in predictions based on sahams. This software provides this feature for greater authenticity and confidence in Astrologer's predictions. Pressing this key displays all sahams list with their calculated values. Pressing this key again removes the display. To know the calculation of happening-time of saham siginification (event), the formula is displayed by pressing Formula. Pressing Close Me removes this formula display. This feature too can be used any-time, any number of times, during examination of Horoscope.
Next special function is Bhava Judging. This is a unique and most important function in this software. Hindu Siddhantas assigned every life-event to one of the 12 Bhavas, called Bhava Karakatva. And all seven planets are assigned Lordships (Adhipaty) to these 12 bhavas. Except Ravi (Sun) and Chandra (Moon), all five planets are given lordship of two Bhavas each. Each lord controls specific life-events called Graha Karakatva. When that Lord is Shubhatv, gives good results. If Ashubhatv, bad results. This is in line with Hindu spirit, life is a mixture of good and bad events, occuring throughout life.
Accordingly, any event happens if the responsible Bhava and its Lord are in Shubhatva state or favourable for the event. In addition, Lagna Bhava (Ascendant) and its lord also by being in Shubhatva or favourable state promotes the former Lord or its Bhava, materialization of that event will be promoted. But this is subject to all other planetary effects on these two Bhavas and their Lords. Therefore, for an event to happen, two bhavas - Lagna and the event responsible bhava and their two lords must have shubhatva state with no ill-will cast on them by other planets either by association or aspection. That date when this happens is the most likely period of happening of that event.
This software exactly performs this function. Pressing the key will ask you to select the responsible Bhava for the event you are querrying. Then, It keeps-on informing about the Shubhatva states of Lagna and that selected bhava with their aspectional shubhatva. Shubhatva is displayed for both the Bhavas (residences) and aspections on these bhavas by all the planets. Two signals for Bhavas (residences) and two signals for Aspections on these bhavas, are provided. The four signals turn Green for Shubhatv state or turn Red for Ashubhatv state. When you notice green colour for these four signals, you must refer their Lords shubhatva state in the Saptavarg bal Graph and note their strength to deliver the effect. When all these match (may also refer Dasa-Antardasa effect for more authoritative prediction), it is the most likely date when that event occurrs.
This entire examination is made very very simple so that you need only to select event responsible bhava, and keep moving planets daily into future. Keep looking for the phenomenon (Green Colour at four places here and green colour at four places in Saptvargbal graph, and if desired Dasa-Antardasa Board too) to happen, and note that Chart-date. Software takes care of all theoretical considerations by itself without bothering you. And hunting for such a date can go on and on to any extent in future, may be 20 years or even more without limits. In the same fashion, you can also go into the past if you like. Along with this feature, you may also involve Tajak testing if needed, in this judgemental examination. This Bhava Judging feature can be used any-time, any number of times, to examine a Horoscope.
Next special function is Tajak Tests. In Querries (Hora or Prasna Shashtra), these tests are useful. Only those Tajak tests mostly useful in Querries are included in this software. In general, Tajak Yogas are formed when aspection rays (Special Orbs) of two planets are either mingling or seperating. In Tajaka Theory, Planets special orbs are of great importance. Under Hints, how a Yoga forms is diagramtically explained. Ithasala, Muthasila, Easarapha, Musaripha, and Kamboola Tajak tests are the popular Tajak tests that are widely used in Querries. Ithasala and Muthasila are the forming Yogas meaning the orbs are inter-mingling, while Easarapha and Musaripha are the seperating Yogas meaning the orbs are seperating out. Kamboola Yoga is also Ithasala Yoga with Chandra (Moon) also involved in the Yoga.
In Tajak Tests, two planets are selected with one planet having faster motion and the other with slower motion. For some tests, the slower moving planet must be ahead of the faster planet. And in other tests, the faster moving planet must be ahead of the slower moving planet. These specific details and the heirarchy of the 9 planets as per their faster or slower motion are described alongside the test selection board. Once a Tajak test is selected, unless and untill that test is completely deactivated, the test will be active in the background. This may sometimes cause inconvenience. So, if a test is not needed, ensure that the test is completely de-activated, as you are guided. There is a visual signal that tells you whether a selected Tajak test is still working in the background or not. So, ensure that this signal do not appear when the test activity is not needed.
With Bhava Judging feature, Tajak Test between the selected Bhava Lord and Ascendant Lord (or some other Graha) can also be made to work simultaneously in the background with this feature. Combination of these two features help predictions to be more authoritative. This feature too can be used any-time, any number of times, during examination of Horoscope.
Next special function is Female Specials. Female Horoscopes have some peculiar special study aspects additionally. Hindu Siddhantas prohibited using these female-specific formulae for Male Horoscopes. These aspects include her nature, her temper, her personality traits, her behaviour patterns, her Husbands (present or future) nature and qualities, her Mangalya (her death before husbands death or otherwise). Generally, these details are referred only at the time of Rajaswala (puberty) or Kanyavarana (Marriage engagement) and such occassions, and not at any time. These are highly sensitive and delicate matters and must be held confidential by Astrologer. The Woman whose Horoscope is being examined should not be told these matters. Our software examines every horoscope (Male as well as Female), but Astrologers should study them only for Female Horoscopes. This is the very reason why these details are not sent to In-Box like other messages. This feature too can be used any-time, any number of times, during examination of Horoscope.
Next special function is Hints. This software did not provide the customary HELP facility generally found in every software. This is because, this software is made self explanatory as notified in the very beginning. So, Help feature is not needed. In Hints, some advanced & useful details on Predictions and Horoscope analysis are provided. You can go through the hints any time and any number of times.
Well, this completes our brief-tour of all the features in this Professional Astrologer's version. Let us know about the additional 3 customary keys namely "About Us", "Re-start", and "Exit". Pressing About Us key displays ViziOn Horoscope Labs mission and pays respects to ancient Astrological scholars, and its software team. The Re-start" key is meant for starting examination & analysis of another Horoscope without exitting the software. The "Exit" key is meant for closing or shutting-down this software (not your Computer) as is usual with any other software.
