Sriman Narayanan is being as Bhaktavatsala Perumal at this sthalam.He is in the (Ninran)Kolam. i.e standing posture.The main deity Bhaktavatsala perumal is Nine feet high with Sridevi and Bhoodevi.In this  Sthalam Thirumangai Azhwar made manglasasanam and sung pasurams about this perumal.

             When Thirumangai azhwar came to this divya desam to see the god,Perumal was not keen to see him.So the azhwar after praying , with hard mind went to thiru kadal mallai.But seeing this the thayar explained to perumal about azhwar sorrow.Hearing that perumal himself went to thirukkadalmallai to give dharsan to azhwar.

               The Thayar, named as ennai petra thayar is giving dharsan to devotees sitting seperattely.The thayar is also called as soothavalli.It is belived that when thiruparkadal was searching for the thayar,she was at this abode.Aftef seeing thayar at this abode,thiruparkadal called her in the name of ennai petra thayar.From then this deity is called as Ennai petra thayar.Chakrathazwar and Adiseshan are also giving darshans to devotees  outside the main praharam on each side of the Bhaktavatsala perumal.

There is another special feature for this divya desam.A big ramar temple is also here.He is called as eari kattha ramar as he saved the lake once from a major desaster.During rama navami ten days urchava festival is taking place.

                                    The main Gopuram is having Five tiers and seven kalasams.The main gopuram is now seemed erroded condition.Devotees can send donations genorously for renovating this gopuram to the executive officer as this temple comes under Hindu Endownment control.The big tank is called as varuna saras. It is belived  better to make donations to others on the banks of this tank.
