A brief description of the show
It was held at St. Simon and Jude's Church in Bethlehm, PA as part of
their annual Christkindlmarkt (German/Austrian Christmas market).
The von Trapp children are: Sofia (15), Melanie (13), Amanda (12) and Justin (9).
They are brothers and sisters and their grandpa is Werner Von Trapp, one of the
original kids. Therefore, their grand-grandparents are the Captain and
Maria.
For the first act, they wore the traditional dirndls and
lederhosen.
Sophia is the girl with the long braids and she is actually wearing
one of Maria's original dirndl's.

The other girls are also wearing original
dirndls that 2 of the children wore. Melanie is the one with her hair
up in an updo and Amanda is the one with darker hair pulled off her face on
one side.
