Fall 1992:
  A group of students embark on their trip to the USA, to pursue their Master's studies.
End of 1994 and 1995
  Many of us graduate with a Master's degree.
1995
  Preethi Soundararajan weds.
  (As of Jan 1998) She is blessed with an 8 months old baby boy Sudarshan.
March 1997

  Deepak Shenoy goes on a trip to India- Visits Vidya Mandir and meets some of his old teachers. Donates $1000 to the school. He is seen here with Alamelu holding the check, and Gomathi to her left.
July 1997

  Karthikeyan, Srinivas Raghavan, Deepak Shenoy and K. Rajiv organize a get-together at the Shenandoah valley in Virginia. Boy, did they have a lot to catch up on !

  Someone we all know finds love in Ms. Tejal. Apparently our friend was having a wild New Year's eve party when he met this cute (I'm told) girl from Pittsburg. Love seems to have blossomed although how much of it will actually bloom will depend on a few other factors our man is working on. And so, until the 'fog clears', he's insisted on remaining anonymous.

  (In Sandhya's own words) ok, the wedding was fun - vaish was there, late as usual, and deepa who i hadnt met since school, and rohini who i have quite often. was sorry to see no others. but the teachers were there by the truckloads and even told me to be more ladylike and not rush around the fire. felt like school again. in dec 1999, i moved to the UK. srini took up a job here in aug. and i finally upped and joined him in dec after prolonged goodbyes to levers (where i worked). we're in london now. am currently making a career out of mooching around. and i'm getting quite professional at it too. keep telling myself that i must start the process of job hunting, but then i never really listen to anyone including myself.

Hi everyone, It seems it is the marriage season and I decided I didnt want to be left out. This is just a small note to say that I am getting married on July 12, 2001. The girl's name is Sukanya and currently works for Vijay TV in Madras. The wedding will be in Thrissur (erstwhile Trichur in Kerala). Got hungry around midnight and went to hotel Savera for some bites. This is the restaurant on the top floor (Minar). While some of us indulged in some top desi beer - Kingfisher, India's top catering manager, Sujeet sternly abstained from it. Rajivakshan made good communication with the staff with his usual all-knowing self while Kalyan turned out the top scorer in the binge.

We (Vaishali & I) had our first born on April 21, 2003. Attached is picture of our daughter Ruchi. Any comment that she resembles me will be taken offense! Also, my apologies to folks who did write to me for not keeping in touch. I have been overwhelmed by too much work (a pathetic side effect of not being laid-off :) ), sympathetic pregnancy issues along with attempting to sell/buy a house.

Annual VM Alumni Meeting 2006. We had a sports day theme. From left in the foreground: Rohini P., Ra. Ranganath, Deepak Shenoy, S.Vinoo. In the background you can see many of our teachers playing musical chairs - Hema, Soundra, Alamelu, Prema Raghavan, Suhasini, Neela, Tara, Sarasa etc. We had a lot of fun talking to all the teachers and recalling old times. Deepak is holding is a coffee table book containing a collage of pictures from different eras of the school.

We joyfully announce the birth of our daughter Lavanya today, Aug 31st at 2:41 am. She weighs 8.5 pounds and is 22 inches long.
