STRATEGIES / ACTIVITIES

1. Teacher collects Project Parenting Guide on day 1
2. begins using PPT Chapter 9 Memory
1. the following demonstrations will be completed as time allows throughout PPT lecture to get students involved

i. Digit Memory Span

ii. Elaborative vs maintenance rehearsal with words

iii. Chunking information

iv. Primacy v recency and von restorff effects

v. Leveling & sharpening as it relates to memory and forgetting

HOMEWORK students will complete the test review sheet thoroughly and bring it to class on day 4 for the test. The test will be open notes.
