This fiction is a "project" that Hitokiri Yukihime and I am writing. I got the the idea and she is writing it. I added some text and checked the writing '

Anyway, this is not an one shot!! This is the intro chapter.

The story is about the 2 and a half years Toshiya lived with Kyo. We look closer on how Kyo is dealing with it.

Introduction

It was a stormy and rainy night (how classic). There was only darkness, if you didn’t count the streetlights in this one.

Kyo was home at his apartment, watching «Star Wars». He didn't expect anything unusual when it knocked on the door... Or more exactly, the doorbell rang. Kyo got up and moved to the door slowly eyes on the tv. He had a bad feeling about this.

Turning his head and opening the door carefully with a loud squeak, he forgot to oil it.

‘Has to do it soon, it’s so damn annoying’ he thought. Outside, stood a woman soaked by the rain with long black hair. The damp hair was sticking to the woman's face and gave her a scary look. All in all she looked like that Sadako girl form the Ring. Yes, the one who comes out from the tv.

Kyo smacked the door in her face and was about to go back to watch «Star Wars». (...)

But before he was halfway down the corridor, the door flew open and the soaked woman threw herself around Kyos neck and squeaked his name. It was then he understood that this wasn't a woman at all.

“Toshiya...?”

“Kyo! They threw me out of my apartment. Now I have nowhere to live!” Toshiya sobbed. Kyo struggled to get out of the other man's grip.

“Er, why did they throw you out?” he asked unsure, unable to get loose.

“Manicure is expensive, you know.”

‘That explains a lot.’ Kyo had wondered about Toshiya and Shinya's pretty nails. Maybe that's why Shinya don't eat.

“Okay. But what are you doing here?” Kyo asked, not quite sure if he wanted to know the answer.

Toshiya finally let go of Kyos neck. He acted as cute as he could (and that's like really, really cute) and looked at Kyo with puppy-eyes.

“Can I stay here? Pleeeease.”

“No way,” Kyo turned to go back to the TV.

“Oh, come on. Please, please, please. It’s only for one night,” Toshiya begged while he clung to Kyo’s leg, something that made it much more difficult to walk.

“Stay with your parents or something!” Kyo shouted.

“But it's raining outside. I'm cold and wet and have nowhere to go. Please. Just one night, please.”

Kyo looked down at Toshiya who tried the puppy-eyes again. Somehow, he did feel some sort of pity (belive it or not). He sighed in defeat. Beside, he was missing the best scene in the movie.

“Okay. But only for one night.”

“Yay!” Toshiya shouted, “Thank you Kyo-chan.”

“Yeah, sure I... WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!” Kyo was starting to get a really, really bad feeling about this.

-------------

The last chapter was an intro. In chapter one, we’ll give you a look at the situation. This way it’s easier for you to get the right picture on things later in the story. Chapter two will be more story and so (I promise). Anyway, enjoy!!

Chapter One; what a change

Just one night he’d said.

Now they had lived together almost one and a half year. And the current situation was... messy, to put it that way.

When you entered the apartment, the first thing you lay you’ eyes on was shoes.

Lots of them in fact!

People had a strange habit to ask if Kyo had a woman in the house when they saw Toshiya's high-heeled shoes. Only one or two pair of them was Kyo's (not the high-heeled ones).

If you managed to tear your stare from the shoes, you would notice that you were standing in a corridor. To the right was a door into Toshiya's room. It was the biggest bedroom.

If you went inside you would be met by the sign of a four-poster. But all the mess in the room took some of the shine out of it. Over the bed was a window, and on the left side a little table with a lava lamp.

The mess was generally magazines, most of them with pictures of Dir en Grey. Toshiya had hidden porn-magazines under the bed, but it was beginning to flow out on the floor.

Next to the bed, on the right side, was the anime/manga-corner. There was a TV, lot of anime, and manga was piled all up to the ceiling. And next to all this was Toshiya's bass guitar, his undying love.

To the left, once you entered the room, was a large wardrobe. If you, against all common sense, opened the wardrobe, you would most likely be shocked. It was the plainest view you can ever imagine. The cloths were organized after colour (or black shades). You could see the kimono from Myaku, and the cloths from [KR] Cube and a lot more.

Up in the left corner, on the left wall, was one of two doors that lead to the bathroom. The rest of the left wall was papered with posters of j-rockers. The one next to the door was of Mana of Malice Maizer. Toshiya used to lie on his bed and look at this particular poster and wonder how the hell Mana managed to get his make-up like that. Then he could jump off the bed in a hurry, before running to the bathroom to try it himself.

Toshiya must have liked that bed very much, because he always had his laptop in the footboard. It was a double bed in fact; it was the softest madras you’d ever image. This explains why Toshiya never had dark circles around his eyes.

That was Toshiya's room.

Let's move back out to the entrance again. A little down the corridor, to the left, was Kyo’s room. If you opened the door, a cold wave of air would hit you right in the face. At this point most people would shut the door, turn around and never try to enter again.

It was dark inside (the fact that the bulb was gone out didn't help either). It was like you could feel an evil aura.

The rumours said that the former owner of the apartment hang himself in that room, probably why Kyo had gotten the apartment cheaper. Kyo didn’t choose that room to sleep in when he first moved in.

Before Toshiya moved in it had been Kyos work room. It was there he wrote songs and things like that. Actually, he did still work there, but now he slept there as well.

The reason why Kyo had moved into this room was that the first night Toshiya lived there, they had shared bed (!!!), and Toshiya had taken the entire blanket for himself. Toshiya had spoken in his sleep to, it was creepy. Not only that but Toshiya was moving and shifting all night long! Kyo couldn’t take it, he needed sleep!

Now Kyo’s bed was only a hard madras on the floor up in the left corner of the room. His old bed had been made into a four-poster by Toshiya.

Kyo’s room was messy as Toshiyas. The mess was just a bit different. It was all kinds of rubbish. I won't be bothered to mention it all. But if you wanted to walk trough the room, you had to sneak along the wall.

Down in the left corner was a huge pile of cloths.

Next to the madras was a HUGE candle. Kyo used it when he wrote lyrics (the light bulb didn't work, remember?). Papers and notes lied scattered about the floor up in the right corner.

Between the madras and the pile of cloths was a box with fake blood and other requisites. If people saw this, they did for sure turn away and did never return.

It wasn't any windows in the room. All in all, the room was kind of creepy, and gave Kyo the depressive and destructive attitude the fans loved him for.

Back in the corridor, right ahead was the living room. It was probably the largest room in the apartment.  The whole “back wall” was all a big window. Not that it mattered, because a large, black curtain covered it. Kyo didn't want the light to disturb his TV-watching. The big TV was in front of the window and a couch was standing with its back to the door. Between the TV and couch was a table, glass table to be correct. Some random stuff from Toshiya was lying under it. A pity you could see it because of the glass.

The door to the kitchen was to the left on the left wall, and the second door to the bathroom was to the right on the right wall. On the left wall was it a DVD-shelf too. Kyo had a really amazing collection of them.

By the way, the TV had a really expensive stereo surround.

When Toshiya had asked why the hell Kyo had bought that instead of a new washing machine or something, he had said it was necessary.

He didn't hear too well. All the live concerts had almost made him deaf, especially on the left ear. He had even gotten hospitalised because of that.

Toshiya dubiously accepted this, but he still couldn't understand why one of the speakers had to be standing right in front of the door into the kitchen. Kyo on his side couldn't understand the dilemma. No one used the kitchen anyway.

The living room was not as extremely messy as the others. All the pizza-boxes revealed what the housekeepers lived on. Or more exactly; what Toshiya lived on. Everyone know that Kyo only eat children (but how managed Toshiya to keep his figure with that diet?).

Trash, cloths, DVDs and Cds and all you can ever imagine floated the floor. It looked like someone had tried to shove it all under the table, but it didn't help because (as I said earlier) it was a glass table. The phone was in the corner of the corridor next to the entrance of the kitchen.

Let's keep moving into the kitchen. It was the most chaotic room you’d ever see. No one had been in there in about half a year. The dishes was piled everywhere. One time there had been a window there, but it was difficult to tell where, because the dishes blocked the view. There was broken glass (and other disgusting thing that it wouldn't be very wise to mention right here) on the floor.  There was lot of spider's web up at the ceiling.

If you look away from those things, it was a regular, little kitchen with a kitchen range, sink and other normal kitchen-thing. Well talk some more about this place later.

And at last let's take a look at the bathroom. In general it looked like a normal bathroom. It was about the same size as the kitchen. It had a shower, a bath tub, a sink and a mirror.

Except the sink was occupied by hair sprays and other boxes marked with «Care of the Hair» and things like that. It was nearly impossible to see the mirror. Well, except if you were a really tall person.

Maybe you noticed that it wasn't a washing machine anywhere in the apartment. You see, Toshiya managed to break it after only two months. That's the reason why Toshiya wanted Kyo to buy a new. And Kyo, stubborn as he was, didn't want to replace something Toshiya had broken. So now they were parasites and washing their cloths at their bandmates places. Kaoru was the main victim.

He had been angry in the beginning but after Toshiyas drama show he’d given up on that.

So that’s how they lived.
